In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Sitting in the auditoriums at the faculty is not comfortable, because of the row chairs that made of wood. In contrast, sitting in any restaurant or cafe' is very comfortable, because the chairs there are cozy. However, as long as the purpose of going to the faculty is to study and get a scientific degree, you never mind sitting at these wooden chairs. Similarly, when you know the purpose of your existence in life, you will bear its difficulties since you are promised to be admitted to paradise that is as wide as the heavens and the earth:
(( (In paradise there is that which no eye (has ever) seen, no ear has (ever) heard and no human heart has ever perceived) ))
We prepare for this paradise in this world; however, in order not to be drained by this preparation quest, Allah the Almighty has installed in us the love for many beautiful things in life, such as the love installed in the heart of every parent for his child who fills the house with joy.
There are other beautiful things that makes life enjoyable, like delicious food, outstanding landscapes, luxury cars, vast houses, etc. Although all these things are beautiful, they are temporary, because when death comes, it puts an end to everything.
Death ends the power of the powerful, the weakness of the weak, the affluence of the rich, the poverty of the poor, the knowledge of the scientist and the ignorance of the heedless. Hence, heroism lies in shifting our concerns towards the Hereafter, only then, we will succeed and prosper. Actually, you reach real success when you fulfill the purpose of your existence.
