In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
This Zakat is wondrous. It is compulsory on every Muslim who owns his daily bread. Namely, who owns at least one meal a day. Why is that?
Allah wants every Muslim to taste the sweetness of giving charity even if he is poor.
This taste of spending is awesome and is known only by those who pay charity. Allah wants us to taste that sweetness at least once a year.
If you are poor, then spend.
Also, the one who gives charity, will receive charity as well.
In other words, the poor will give this charity and will receive it from others as well.
Zakat Al Fitr purifies the fasting person from sins and the nonsense, such like unintentional look (at forbidden things), a slip of the tongue or improper word.
Hence, Zakat Al Fitr purifies fasting people from sins and the nonsense, such as unintentional look, unintentional word. It is also a charity to the poor, which is compulsory payment even upon the poor who owns his daily bread. Allah wants Muslims to taste the sweetness of giving charity including even the poor, as giving charity gives happiness to the giver.
