In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
What is the great bounty?
There is a great bounty, Allah says:
﴾ O you who believe! If you obey and fear Allah, He will grant you Furqan a criterion [(to judge between right and wrong), or (Makhraj, i.e. making a way for you to get out from every difficulty)], and will expiate for you your sins, and forgive you, and Allah is the Owner of the Great Bounty ﴿
It is a great bounty that Allah has cast light into your heart, by which you see what is right as right and what is falsehood as falsehood.
It is a great bounty to be steadfast on Allah's Path, to be good to His creations and to draw closer to Him.
As a believer, and according to your standards, what is the great bounty?
A person may consider a two-hundredfold increase in the price of land he purchased as a great success since he bought it when it was cheap. This increase resulted from land planning, which caused its value to multiply dramatically. Proud of what he believes he has achieved, he struts, even though he may die and leave it behind for his heirs before he benefits from it.
There is a substantial difference between "Ar Rizk" (subsistance) and "Al Kasb" (money earning).
Ar Rizk is what you actually make use of, like the food you eat, the clothes you wear, the bed you sleep on, or the car you drive. The rest of your income, that you don't use, is considered Kasb, and you will be held accountable for it.
"Your wealth is what you eat and consume, what you wear and it wears out, or what you give in charity and send on ahead (for the Hereafter)"
Accounts in banks are just numbers and mean nothing. Let alone the great financial crisis which was an economic earthquake of our era that wiped out entire accounts and left people with nothing.
This crisis revealed that all the fat accounts, which had been growing in banks, were erased when the big deceit of banks was exposed and the western financial systems collapsed.
