Be a hero in your patience:
Allah says:
﴾ And endure you patiently (O Muhammad), your patience is not but from Allah. ﴿
Ask Allah to help you in remaining patient.
﴾ And endure you patiently (O Muhammad PBUH), your patience is not but from Allah. ﴿
The endurance of the oppression our brothers suffered from, was certainly through Allah's Help to them, for what befell them was beyond human endurance, but Allah Almighty supported them to remain patient.
﴾ And endure you patiently (O Muhammad PBUH), your patience is not but from Allah. ﴿
Sometimes a person becomes weak and is compelled to be patient, having been overpowered. Allah says:
﴾ O you (Muhammad PBUH) enveloped (in garments)!* Arise and warn! And your Lord (Allah) magnify!* And your garments purify!* And keep away from Ar-Rujz (the idols)!* And give not a thing in order to have more (or consider not your deeds of Allah’s obedience as a favour to Allah)* And be patient for the sake of your Lord (i.e. perform your duty to Allah)! ﴿
The believer endures for the Sake of Allah, and if he is oppressed, he does as mentioned in the following Ayah:
﴾ And those who, when an oppressive wrong is done to them, they take revenge. ﴿
The believer endures for the Sake of Allah; not only when he is weak, oppressed or humiliated, but also when he has the upper hand.
When the Prophet PBUH opened Makkah, there were 10.000 glowing drown swords stood ready, awaiting a single command from him. Yet, he said to the people of Makkah:
(( "What do you think I will do to you?" They replied, "You are a kind and generous brother, and a kind and generous nephew." He responded with forgiveness, stating, "Go; you are free" ))
When we are weak and oppressed, patience becomes inevitable, whether we like it or not, but this is not true patience. True patience is shown when you have the upper hand, yet you choose to forgive the one who oppressed you; all for the Sake of Allah.
Let your patience be a sign of your heroism, or let it be a good deed for Allah's Sake.
As a weak person, man remains patient whether he likes it or not, and whether he accepts it or not, and your duty is to endure and to be more patient. Therefore, if someone complains to you about a hardship he is facing, help him to remain patient. Do not say things like, "If I wear you, I would have committed suicide." Such words only make the hardship worse.
﴾ O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), ﴿
﴾ Therefore, be patient (O Muhammad PBUH) as did the Messengers of strong will) ﴿
Who is your role model in patience? The Prophets, peace be upon them, should be your role models, for those who have no faith have no true patience.
