In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Only two values truly determine how people are ranked:
Allah Almighty says:
﴾ And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter Paradise). ﴿
Are your standards aligned with the standards of The Creator of the heavens and the earth?
In worldly life, people honor the wealthy, the powerful, the intelligent, the beautiful, the charismatic, the eloquent, the influential, and the strong. These are the measures by which people typically judge one another.
But what are the Quranic values by which people are measured and ranked?
They are only two: knowledge, and righteous deeds.
﴾ Are those who know equal to those who know not? ﴿
﴾ And (He) taught you that which you knew not. And Ever Great is the Grace of Allah unto you (O Muhammad ). ﴿
Regarding deeds, Allah says:
﴾ And for all, there will be degrees according to that which they did, ﴿
If your personal standards don not align with the standards of the Quran, you will not attain true success. Valuing wealth, status or worldly gain does not lead to real prosperity.
Whenever a person sincerely strives for something, he will attain it. Allah says:
﴾ To each these as well as those We bestow from the Bounties of your Lord. And the Bounties of your Lord can never be forbidden. ﴿
So, what is your standard?
True success lies in adopting the same standards set by The Creator of the heavens and the earth. As long as your standards are in harmony with the Quranic values, you will prosper.
Allah says:
