In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Dear brothers, had man failed to follow Allah's Guidance, he would have been prone to perils.
The life of the world is sweet and green (alluring), and poison lies in its vanity. Namely, it is full of mazes, slippery traps, alluring sources of money and attractive women.
Women in general are source of seduction, whereas the family and the children drain man's energy and might make him cowardice and stingy.
The life of the world is full of raging whims in their best appearance, while its conflicts are always wakeful and disguised in the best facade.
How can man avoid being lost in these mazes and deceptions?
How can man avoid being attracted to these lethal conflicts?
How can man avoid being indulged in these whims?
How can man avoid entering the race of wealth amassing?
How can man avoid misery in worldly life and in the Hereafter?
The answer lies in being pious, for piety is the purpose of observing Siyaam (fasting) in Ramadan. Piety is decreed by Allah to be the Divine Wisdom behind Siyaam.
