Ramadan Lectures- Ramadan Notions 1445H- Lesson 21: Tips to make use of the last ten days of Ramadan.

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

To fast the days of Ramadan is taken for granted, but what is left is Taraweeh (night prayers) which are supposed to be performed properly.
It is acceptable to put an open Quran in front of you while you are offering Taraweeh prayers so that you may recite one page every Rak'ah calmly and attentively.
Reciting repeatedly the same Surah, such as, "By Al-'Asr (the time)." [Al Asr-1], will reduce your interest in Salah. Thus reciting something new in your prayers increases your interest in Salah.
Night prayers in Ramadan are Taraweeh prayers, and as for fasting during the day, it requires lowering my gaze from looking at forbidden things, and guarding my tongue by avoiding backbiting, tale-bearing and all nonsense talk. When I guard my tongue, I will be able to fast properly.
You make this Du'a (in Ramadan), "O Allah, help me in fasting, praying the nights, lowering my gaze and guarding my tongue."
