In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord (The One and Only) of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and upon his Noble Folks and Companions.

If you ask me: Can religion as a whole be summed up in one word? I will give you the answer, but first let me ask you this question: Can you summarize trading at all its levels and in all its types in one word? The answer is: Yes, you can. Trading is all about making profits, so if you do not make profits, you are not a trader even if you are trading with hundreds or millions of different types of goods at hundreds or millions of levels.

As for Islam, it is a Divine Revelation, it is a Divine Way sent to us by The Creator of the universes, it is the path that leads us to our happiness, and it is the way that guarantees our safety. We were born to know Allah the Almighty, and this religion makes us know Allah. Also, we were created to be admitted to the Paradise that is as wide as the heaves and the earth, and so on.

Beware, unless man is steadfast in following Allah's Command, he will not reap any fruitful results of the religion. As if the whole religion is summed up in one word, which is Istiqamah (steadfastness). What is the nature of the relationship between the one, who is not steadfast, and the religion? For this man, the religion has become a heritage and folklore. Unfortunately, contemporary expressions have become widely spread nowadays, like Islamic background, Islamic trends, Islamic concerns, Islamic decorations, Islamic greeting cards, etc.

Keep in mind that Islam for you is merely folklore as long as you are not steadfast, you are not religiously committed, you do not care about the Divine Commands and Prohibitions, and you do not enjoin whatever is good and refrain from whatever is bad.
