What is Repentance?
Ramadan is the month of repentance, and the sincere repentance is about regretting the sin that was committed, quitting it completely, and determining not to commit it again. Hence, saying, "After Ramadan, I will get back to (the bad habits) what I used to do before it", is a mockery of Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He.
I beseech Allah the Almighty that this month will be to our noble brothers a qualitative shift, an important step towards Allah the Almighty and a good change to reconcile with Allah the Almighty.
((When a servant turns back to Allah the Almighty in repentance and mends his relationship with Him, a caller calls out among those of the heavens and the earth asking them to congratulate so and so, because he reconciled with Allah the Almighty. ))
(( When a servant returns to Allah with sincere repentance, Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, will make Hafithieh (the two angels who write his good deeds and bad ones), the angels, his limbs and all parts of the earth forget about his sins and misdeeds. ))
