Is this relationship between water and air important? Why?

 We should remember the air and the water as two of Allah’s Great Divine Favors to mankind. We should remember the relationship existing between them, because without such relationship, human life on this planet would be impossible.
 The relationship between air and water can be summed up as follows: The air carries steam at most miraculous rates and temperatures. At 0° Celsius, one cubic meter of air carries five grams of steam, but if the air is heated to the temperature of 20° or 30° C., it carries 130 grams of steam.
 The differences in the rates of the air’s ability to carry steam according to differences of temperature stand behind the downfall of rain, without which there would be no plants, without which there would be no animals or humans. This is because water is certainly the essence of life. To this effect, Allah, All Mighty, says,

“And We have made from water all living things.”

 As for the way Allah, All Mighty, drives water from the seas and oceans to all continents, Allah, Glory to Him, does this by means of the rain. Thanks to the air’s ability to carry steam at certain different rates according to different temperatures, the air carries the steam, after water has been heated and turned into steam by the process of evaporation, and drives it along. In cold places, where the temperature is low enough to force the air to let go the steam it is carrying, the condensed steam turns into drops of water that fall down on the earth in the form of rain. This is the way rain is made.
 The hot rays of sunlight fall down on vast areas of the surface of the earth, especially seas and oceans, which constitute 4/5 of the entire surface of the earth, and cause water to evaporate and turn into steam. The air, which is caused by the different pressures in the atmosphere, carries the steam along to different places and continents. When the air meets cold fronts, it lets go the steam it is carrying and, thus, causes rain to fall down.
 Who has made this miraculous natural law? Who has given water the property of evaporation when temperature rises? Who has given the air the ability to carry steam? Who has made certain amounts of steam carried by the air at certain temperatures? At 0°C., one cubic meter of air carries only five grams of steam, but at 20°C., 130 grams. When the air is suddenly cooled down, the steam it is carrying condenses, i.e. turns into water and falls down in the form of rain.

Conclusion

 The foregoing are simplified facts about the phenomenon of rain, which is far more complicated. However, the property of evaporation and condensation, which Allah, All Mighty, has given to water, the ability to carry steam, which Allah, Most Merciful, has given to the air, the mutual relationship between them, the vast seas and oceans, which Allah, Most Generous, has made as immense reservoirs of water, the hot sunlight, and the winds, which Allah, All Wise, has made to drive clouds to thirsty places in order to bring back life to them, are all undisputable Signs of Allah’s Infinite Divine Mercy, Kindness, Wisdom, Might and Generosity. To this effect, Allah, Most Gracious, says,

“And if you count the Favors and Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them.”
