Dear noble brothers, in Ramadan Allah the Almighty forgives the sins between you and Him, so I would like to perish the delusion most Muslims have. They think that sleep debts, violation of others' rights or distributing the heritage unfairly are matters that can be forgiven in Ramadan, only they are not.

The only way out is to give back people's rights or to be forgiven by them. On the other hands, the sins between you and Allah are forgiven. Hence, it is a delusion to think that by fasting Ramadan you will be back as the day your mother gave birth to you.

According to Sunnah, this might be true regarding the sins between you and Allah; however, the sins between you and people will not be forgiven unless they are paid back or you are forgiven by their claimers.
