Praise be to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our souls, and the adverse consequences of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, there is none that can misguide him, and whomsoever He misguides, you will find no protector to guide him. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah; He is alone, having no partners, and I admit His Lordship, compelling this truth for those who denied Him and disbelieved in Him. And I bear witness that our Master Muhammad, may Allah have peace and blessings upon him, is the Messenger of Allah; the Master of the creation and the human race, and I keep professing that for as long as an eye can see and for as long as news can be heard with an ear.
O Allah, our Lord, have peace and blessings upon our Master Muhammad, his Folks, his Companions, his descendants and those who allied with him and followed him until the Day of Judgment.
O Allah our Lord, teach us what is useful for us, let us make use of what You have taught us and advance us in knowledge. O Allah, show us the righteous things as righteous and help us do them, and show us the bad things as bad and help us avoid them. O Allah our Lord, make us amongst those who listen to the Word and follow the best meaning of It, and admit us, by Your Grace, to the ranks of Your righteous servants.
Introduction about power:
Dear noble brothers, in two previous sermons I talked about power: The power of al-Haqq (the truth) and the right of having power. I also clarified the point that both the right of having power and the power of al-Haqq are interrelated. In other words, the power of al-Haqq is in need of the right of having power and vise versa.
In the last two sermons, I highlighted the fact that there are Divine Laws in Allah's Creation, so if we are not true believers who always act upon Allah's Order and who keep making ready against our enemies all we can of power, the victory is most likely impossible. Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ …And (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them). ﴿
What kind of faith should they have? They should have the faith that keeps them obedient to Allah the Almighty, and that makes them abide by Allah's Way according to which we are ordered to every available means of power ready. Allah the Almighty says: against our enemy.
﴾ (And make ready against them all you can of power…) ﴿
The word 'power' is not preceded by a definite article, which means that it refers to all means of power. Look how the infrastructure that has been built for the last 20 or 30 years was all destroyed in two days! What is the value of such infrastructure if it cannot be protected? There is no worthwhile achievement on earth as long as it is not protected by a deterrent means of power.
Dear noble brothers, of we add to Islam anything that does not belong to it, we will become sects and sections and we will fight against one another, and if we delete from it what belongs to it, we will be weakened. In either ways, we will be at the back of all other nations, and the power of al-Haqq we have will be useless, because this power needs a supporting means of power.
Success lies in understanding the events and interpreting them correctly:
Dear noble brothers, I would like to repeat the example I once gave to you. What is the problem with the car when the red light flashes on your dashboard at a certain point while you are driving your car? Is it to make sure that it flashes? Definitely, it is not, because you see it with your own eyes, so you should know the reason why it flashes. Much in the same line, the problem with the events that take place is not whether we witness and hear them or not, because all people in the five continents can see the news or listen to it five minutes after whatever event happens. Instead, we should explain why so and so event happens, and as you know the media is misleading, and it does not convey the truth. Therefore, we should understand why Allah the Almighty allows something to happen.
We may analyze the events in a mundane and secular manner, which has nothing to do with the Noble Quran. However, the true believer is keen on analyzing the events according to the Noble Quran.
To get back to the example of the flashing red light in the dashboard, if the driver mistakenly thinks that it is designed to entertain him, his car engine will break down, and he will not be able to reach his destination. Also, repairing it will cost him a huge amount of money. On the other hand, if he is able to understand that this red light is a warning, he will change the oil and will get where he intends to. Hence, where does the problem lie? Does it lie in noticing the light whether it flashes or not? No, it does not, but rather it lies in realizing the reason why it flashes.
As for analyzing the events we are witnessing, there are hundreds of analyses and interpretations, some of which are true, incorrect, fanatic, false, and fabricated. Thus, you should interpret them in the context of the Noble Quran.
Axiomatic matters:
I would like to mention four axiomatic matters before you, but let me ask you this question: Do you think for one second that Allah the Almighty has no idea about what is going on? Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ (…not a leaf falls, but he knows it.) ﴿
Which is more dangerous? Is it the fall of an olive leaf, or a rocket? Do you think that the believer would ever believe that Allah the Almighty does not know what is happening on earth? Undoubtedly, He does know. Does anyone of us think or believe that Allah the Almighty cannot respond to the oppression of the oppressors?
Tsunami equaled one million atomic bombs, and you remember how it caused the death of 300.000 people and the displacement of 5.000.000 people. The semi-continent was destroyed all together in hours. Hence, Allah absolutely knows what is going on, as He is the Omniscient and the Omnipotent. Does anyone mistakenly think that Allah the Almighty does not care about the current events. Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, says:
﴾ It is He (Allah) Who is the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) on the earth. ﴿
Allah the Almighty says in the following Ayaat:
﴾ They have no Wali (Helper, Disposer of affairs, Protector, etc.) other than Him, and He makes none to share in His Decision and His Rule."﴿
﴾ Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian, etc.) over all things. ﴿
﴾ (Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment.) ﴿
﴾ And to Allah belongs the Ghaib (unseen) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him return all affairs (for decision). So worship Him (O Muhammad PBUH) and put your trust in Him. And your Lord is not unaware of what you (people) do." ﴿
Allah the Almighty is the Omniscient and the Omnipotent, and He is the only Ilah in the heaven and the only Ilah on the earth, so do you think that the Kafir (the infidel) can do anything that Allah has not decreed? Keep in mind that whatever happens is due to Allah's Will, and thus the Kafir cannot escape Allah's Punishment, can he? Of course, he cannot, since the whole matter is "Be!", and it is; "Perish!", and it perishes.
How the event should be explained:
How do we interpret the events that take place nowadays? Well, the interpretation is; as long as we, Muslim, do not exert efforts that make us deserve the victory granted to us by Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, we will never be victorious. Whatever happens is due to Allah's Plan, so we should realize that this Ummah is being targeted over and over again, so that we should work on making use of all the available means of power along with the power of al-Haqq.
The conversation between Sa'id bin Jubair and Al-Hajjaj
Dear noble brothers, I mentioned in previous sermons that the Prophet, peace be upon him, established strong faith in the heart of his companions, and when he moved to al-Madinah, he established a strong entity. Hence, unless we follow the way of Allah's Messenger in establishing the Islamic entity, we will not succeed.
1- The details of the story:
Dear noble brothers, Sa'id bin Jubair, is a reverend Tabi'i (follower of the Prophet, peace be upon him), who had a great position in Allah's Sight. Once al-Hajjaj wanted to force him do something he didn’t approve of , so he fled. Unfortunately, he was found and caught in one of the villages of Al-Madinah. I will relate to you what is written about this incident in the Books of Sirah.
When al-Hajjaj learned of Sa'id bin Jubair's whereabouts, he dispatched a company of his troops and instructed them to drive him to Wasit, where he would be tethered to al-Hajjaj. The troops caught Sa'id bin Jubair and tied his hands before some of his companions to get him to al-Hajjaj.
He met them with a calm soul and a reassuring heart, and then he turned to his companions and said, "Why should I be sad if I got killed? I spent a night worshipping Allah the Almighty and tasting the sweetness of Du'a with two companions of mine. We made Du'a to Allah submissively as much as we can. After that, we asked Allah the Almighty to make us martyrs. My companions were granted martyrdom, while I am still waiting for it."
Before he finished his words, his daughter looked at him while he was tied up, and the soldiers were driving him, and she clung to him and began crying and sobbing, so he gently moved her from him, and said to her, "O daughter tell your mother that we may meet in Jannah insha' Allah." Then he went off. The troops drove the devout, austere, ascetic, pious, and pure Imam (Sa'id bin Jubair), and when they arrived Wasit, they took him to al-Hajjaj.
When he was brought before al-Hajjaj, the following conversation took place:
Hajjaj: "What is your name?"
Sa'id: "My name is Saeed (lit. Auspicious)."
Hajjaj: "What is your father's name?"
Sa'id:"Jubair (lit. Trimmed)."
Hajjaj: "No, you are in fact Shaqi (lit. Wretched) son of Kusair (lit. a broken thing)."
Sa'id: "My mother knew my name better than you do."
Hajjaj: "What is your belief about Muhammad (he meant the Prophet, peace be upon him)?"
Sa'id: "You mean Muhammad bin Abdullah, the Messenger of Allah?
Hajjaj: "Yes, I do."
Sa'id: "He is the Master of all mankind, the selected Prophet, and the best of human race ever. He conveyed the Message, fulfilled the mission, and advised people to believe in Allah and His Book."
Hajjaj: "What do you think of Abu Bakr?"
Sa'id: "He is as-Sideeq (the truthful), and Allah's Messenger's successor. He died with peace of mind, and people still praise him. He lived a happy life, following the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace be upon him, until his death."
Hajjaj: "What do you think of Umar?"
Sa'id: "He is al-Farooq (the one who distinguishes between Al-Haqq (the truth) and Al-Batil (the falsehood).) He is the best man among Allah's creatures. He followed the steps of his companions (the Prophet, peace be upon him, and Abu Bakr.). He was satisfied in his life and was martyred."
Hajjaj: "What do you think of Uthman?"
Sa'id: "He is the one who got the Army of Al-Usra prepared, the digger of the Rumah well, and the buyer of a mansion in Paradise for himself. He is the son-in-law of Allah's Messenger who got married to two of his daughters. His marriage to one of the Prophet's daughters was a Divine Revelation from heaven. He was killed unjustly."
Hajjaj: "What do you think of Ali?"
Sa'id: "He is the Prophet's cousin and the first of the boys to embrace Islam. He is the husband of Fatimah al-Batoul, and he is the father of al-Hasan, and al-Hussein, the Masters of Paradise's young men."
Hajjaj: "What do you say about
Hajjaj: "Who of the Umayyad Khalifas do you admire the most"
Sa'id: "The one who had been able to please Allah more than the rest?"
Hajjaj: "Which of them had been able to please Allah?"
Sa'id: "This is known only to Him. Who knows what is hidden in the hearts and what the hearts conceal."
Hajjaj: "What do you think of me."
Sa'id: "You know best."
Hajjaj: "I want to know that from you."
Sa'id: "Well, you will not be pleased with what I am going to say."
Hajjaj: "I would like to know what you think."
Sa'id: "I know that you oppose Allah's Book as you prefer things, seeking high social position, while these things are leading you to destruction and will throw you into Hell-fire.
Hajjaj: I will definitely kill you,
Sa’id: Then you will ruin my worldy life, but I will ruin your Afterlife.
Hajjaj: "(Annoyed): Choose any way that I should kill you?"
Sa'id: " You should choose any way you would like for yourself to die, because by Allah, any way you kill me by, Allah will kill you by the same way in the Hereafter.
Hajjaj: "Should I forgive you?"
Sa'id: "Allah's forgiveness is real. Your forgiveness is of no value."
Hajjaj: "(To the executioner): 'Kill this man.'"
Sa'id smiled while he was being taken for execution, and al-Hajjaj was informed of this. He called him back.
Hajjaj: "What made you smile ?"
Sa'id: "Your boldness with Allah, and His clemency to you."
he faced Qiblah and recited:
"Verily, I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. worshipping none but Allah Alone) and I am not of Al-Mushrikun (polytheists)."
Hajjaj: "Turn him from our Qiblah
His face immediately turned to the other direction.
Sa'id: "so wherever you turn yourselves or your faces there is the Face of Allah (and He is High above, over His Throne). Surely! Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knowing." (Al-Baqarah, 115)
Hajjaj: "Make him lie on his face. We are only responsible for appearance."
Sa'id was made to lie on his face.
Sa'id: "Thereof (the earth) We created you, and into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out once again." (Ta-Ha, 55)
Hajjaj: "Kill him!!"
"Execute the enemy of Allah, for I have never seen anyone who would use the Ayaat of the Noble Quran the way he did."
Then he turned to face the sky and said: "O Allah! Do not allow Hajjaj any further respite; do not give him the opportunity to kill others".
It was at this very moment that the executioner severed the head from the body of this noble man and so further increased the number of crimes committed by Hajjaj. After this shahadah (a martyr's death in the way of Allah) Hajjaj went into a strange mood and finally became mad. He only lived fifteen days more and during this period was unable to sleep.
His death was slow and painful. He would lose consciousness for a while and then regain it and see before him the form of Sa'id. He would say, "This is Sa'id wants to kill me. This is Sa'id asking me, 'Why did you kill me?' " Al-Hajjaj used to cry whenever he saw Sa'id like that, and he would say, "Why should Sa'id bin Jubair do that to me. Get Sa'id bin Jubair away from me."
A few days after al-Hajjaj’s death, someone saw him in his dream, he asked him, "What did Allah do to you concerning the people you had killed?" He said, "Allah killed me once for every man I killed, but He killed me 70 times for killing Sa'id bin Jubair."
Moral lessons:
Dear noble brothers, there are many lessons deduced from the above- mentioned story:
1. The Jannah that is as wide as the heavens and the earth is for the one who acts upon Allah's Order, follows the Sunnah of Allah's Messenger and defends al-Haqq.
2. After death, man either pays an expensive price or gets a precious reward.
3. The end of the story is sad, but it is mentioned in the Noble Hadith the following:
(( O people, this worldly life is a place of crookedness and is not a place of straightforwardness. It is a place of grief and is not a place of joy. Whoever recognizes this will not feel joy at [the achievement of] some hope [because, he knows it is temporary] or feel grief at wretchedness. Allah has meant for the worldly life to be a place of trial, and has meant for the Hereafter to be a place of ramification. Hence, He has made the adversity of the worldly life a reason for the reward in the Hereafter, and He has made the reward of the Hereafter a compensation for the adversity of the worldly life. He takes to give and afflicts to reward. ))
Dear noble brothers, man says on the Day of Resurrection:
﴾ (He will say: "Alas! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my life!") ﴿
[Al-Fajr, 24]
4. The worldly life we live in is valueless in Allah's Sight, and it is not worth to be a reward for nor a punishment of a servant. Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded, We opened to them the gates of every (pleasant) thing ﴿
5. Power, money, alliances, media and all other means of power are in the hands of our enemy who humiliates, oppresses, practices hegemony and controls other people and their capacities under false pretexts.
Dear noble brothers, because of two captives, countries, bridges, airports and infrastructures are destroyed completely. They use power in a devastating manner.
6. Dear noble bothers, the moral is that in the eternal abode, there are endless things, a Just King (Allah the Almighty). It is said, "The worldly life will perish; it is a temporary abode where both the righteous and the sinful live, while the Hereafter is a true promise where a Just King rules."
Al-Hasan al-Basri was one of the few men who used to carry out the task of Da'wah (calling people to Allah) as he should do (as a religiously committed man), and he once criticized al-Hajjaj's behavior who was a tyrant and an oppressor. When al-Hajjaj was informed about that, he was angry and he said to his companions . By Allah, I will make you drink his blood, you cowards!" Then he ordered for the sword to be fetched and a piece of cloth to be put on the rugs so that they would not get ruined by al-Basri's blood, and he called for the swordsman, and ordered his soldiers to fetch Al-Hassan al-Basri, telling them they were to bring him there, cut his head off and get that over with.
After a while al-Hasan showed up and all eyes looked at him and all hearts feared for his safety. When he saw the sword, the cloth and the swordsman, his lips started to move and he approached al-Hajjaj with the loftiness of a believer, the dignity of a Muslim, and the reverence of the one who calls to the truth, and when al-Hajjaj saw all that, he was awe-struck, and said to him, "Come and sit right here, Abu Sa'id," and he kept clearing the way for him to sit, repeating, "Come over here." People could not believe their eyes as he was supposedly brought to be killed, the cloth was ready, the swordsman was waiting and everything was set up for his head to be cut off. What happened then? How could al-Hajjaj have welcomed him, invited him to sit down, and called him Abu Sa'id? Eventually, he got seated on al-Hajjaj's couch next to al-Hajjaj, who inquired about various aspects of the deen, and al-Hasan answered him fearlessly and concisely. Al-Hajjaj finally said to him, "You are the master of all scholars, Abu Sa'id." This does not mean that the religious position of al-Hasan al-Basri is higher than the one of Sa'id bin Jubair, but each one of them reacted according to his wisdom.
Then, al-Hajjaj ordered for one of the most expensive perfumes to be fetched and he scented Hassan's beard and showed him to the door, and when al-Basri stepped out, he was followed by the chief officer, who said to him, "Abu Sa'id, he called for you intending to kill you, but instead he welcomed and honored you. I saw your lips move when you saw the sword and the cloth. What did you say?" Al-Hasan responded, "I said, O my Benefactor! My Refuge in anguish and Company in loneliness! Cool his rage and save my soul as you made fire cool and safe for Ibrahim."
Dear noble brothers, make Du'a to Allah during the last third of the night to protect our country, our territories, and all Muslims from the ugly plots of those criminals. The only means of power we have at present is Du'a, so make Du'a to Allah the Almighty submissively particularly at night.
(( (Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah's Apostle (PBUH) said, "Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: "Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?") ))
The implications of the story:
Dear noble brothers, what happened after those incidents with al-Hajjaj? I would like you to listen carefully to what I am going to say, and you may or may not accept my words. If my words are right to the point, then it is due to Allah's Help, and if they are not, then it is my fault.
In fact, the elite came to al-Hasan al-Basri and said, "We are here to ask you about al-Hajjaj." Al-Hasan al- Basri said, "Do you not know my opinion about al-Hajjaj?" They said, "Yes, we do, and that is why we are here." He said, "The powerful tyrant is Allah's Punishment sent upon us."
Who is the powerful?
Dear noble brothers, whoever you see as a powerful man is actually powerful, because Allah the Almighty let him be powerful, and He is able to finish him in a second. Well, the powerful man is not necessarily on the side of al-Haqq, and so he might be a dictator and a hideous criminal. Allah the Almighty allows someone to be a powerful tyrannical man for a reason and for some time. Allah the Almighty says:
we will discuss it on Sunday.
﴾ Until when the earth is clad with its adornments and is beautified, and its people think that they have all the powers of disposal over it, Our Command reaches it by night or by day. ﴿
The weapons are diverse, lethal, and have a long range. Furthermore, the accuracy of hitting the targets is amazing. Indeed, the advanced military achievements in the western world are unbelievable. Westerners have a bomb that kills people, but it keeps the stone intact, and other kinds of bombs that stop communications and destroy sources of energy. There are incendiary bombs and penetrating ones that penetrate a meter of reinforced concrete and explode exactly inside the shelter. They have a bomb that is directed by laser, and they have a fission bomb, a cluster bomb, a smart bomb, and so on. Needless to say, they are advanced in their media and satellites.
They own all means of power, while we have been asleep for 200 years, and at present we pay a high price for having all our achievements destroyed within two days! Are your achievements considered valuable? What is the point of being a supporter of al-Haqq? What is the point of having the Divine Revelation?
Dear noble brothers, al-Hasan al-Basri said as I quoted him earlier, "The powerful tyrant is Allah's Punishment sent upon us." When Timur the Lame was questioned, "Who are you?" He replied, "I am Timur the Lame; I am the Lord's Wrath upon you."
Some aspects of Allah's Wrath upon people:
When a person becomes enraged, he raises his voice, breaks whatever he has in his hands, slams the door strongly, and curses others sometimes. What about the aspects of the Wrath of the Most Merciful? He sends someone similar to Timur the Lame, or He sends a racist, insane, and reckless entity (Zionist entity). In brief, His harshest retaliation is manifested in various aspects.
I would like to give you an Islamic explanation of what is going on. The delicate fact is said by Imam al-Hassan al-Basri, "Allah's Disgraces are not avoided by weapons alone, but rather they are avoided by returning to Allah the Almighty with sincere repentance and then with preparing every available means of power, and this is what Salah al-Din did." Do you know how he could defeat the entire western world?
First, he followed Allah's Way, brought up a generation properly (according to the Islamic teachings) with proper upbringing, and got rid of all kinds of evil deeds and wrongdoings. Only then, could he defeat 27 armies, conquer Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and raised the banner of al-Haqq high. We should make this experience a curriculum and put it into practice.
Let me repeat the words of Imam al-Hasan al-Basri, "Allah's Disgraces are not avoided by weapons alone, but rather they are avoided by returning to Allah the Almighty with sincere repentance and then with preparing every available means of power, and this is what Salah al-Din did. If they are avoided by weapons only without returning to Allah with sincere repentance and without reconciling with Him, the tribulation that is caused by the weapons will be more dangerous than the weapons themselves."
Pay attention to the last sentence, please, "If they [Allah's Disgraces] are avoided by weapons only without returning to Allah with sincere repentance and without reconciling with Him, the tribulation that is caused by the weapons will be more dangerous than the weapons themselves."
The problems of Muslims nowadays:
Dear noble brothers, we should learn the moral lessons, and we should return to Allah the Almighty. The problem of Muslims now can be wrapped up in a few phrases: the enemy is keen on impoverishing us, stealing our natural treasures, and misleading us by issuing a new copy of the Noble Quran that is called, The Criterion. It contains a so called Ayah, "O Muhammad, have you deceived My servants? He replied, "O Lord, I went astray, and so they went astray." They want to add things to our Quran, they intend to remove the religious guidance from the curriculum of our schools, they want to corrupt us with the satellite channels on T.V, turning by that the Muslims' houses into nightclubs, they want to humiliate us, and they intend to exterminate us eventually.
The crimes that are committed are not condemned. On the contrary, it is stated that Israel is entitled to self-defense, and this is how the most powerful force on the planet supports the Israeli hideous crimes.
To sum up dear noble brothers, our problem is "to be or not to be", and it is a serious problem, so unless we wake up from our slumber, we will- Allah forbid- face dreadful days ahead. We beseech Allah to protect us, our country, and our Ummah from any evil.
Dear noble brothers, call yourselves to account before you are called to do so, and weigh your deeds before they are weighed against you, and you should know that the Angel of Death has reached others and will reach us soon, so pay heed. The wise man is the one who calls himself to account (and refrains from doing evil deeds) and does noble deeds to benefit him after death; and the foolish person is the one who subdues himself to his temptations and desires and seeks from Allah the fulfillment of his vain desires.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds

The 2nd Khutbah:
Praise be to Allah, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the Protector of righteous people; and I bear witness that Prophet Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, whose character is exalted. O Allah, our Lord, have peace and blessings upon our Master Muhammad, upon his Folks and upon his Companions.
An email from Ramallah:
Dear noble brothers, I received an email, and I would like to read some paragraphs from it.
The sender is a noble sister from Ramallah. She wrote the following:
Greetings to you from all the Palestinian people who remain patient towards the injustice, cruelty, and criminality they are witnessing. I thank Allah the Almighty for providing me with the circumstances and reasons that allow me to listen to what you say in your radio sermons and lectures. By Allah, the program of the Most Beautiful Names of Allah that is broadcast on the Noble Quran radio station in Palestine, has made me more attached, to Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, it has increased my love and trust in Him, and it has made me more certain of His Justice. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
O Sheikh, you cannot imagine how much patience, confidence, and trust, Allah the Almighty has blessed me with after listening to, understanding, and applying some of Allah's Most Beautiful Names due to Allah's Favor upon me.
By applying what I listened to from your lessons and sermons which are really beneficial, I consider the Shaitan (Satan) my enemy, so I always fight him, by Allah's Will.
Dear brothers, the sermons are instantly broadcast on the internet, and people from all five continents listen to them, so I keep working on having the perfection Allah the Almighty expects me to have.
The sister went one:
O Sheikh, I would like to tell you my story. I am the captive Hasan Ali Salama's daughter; my father was arrested in 1982 AD when I was twenty days old, and he is still imprisoned. My mother decided to stay with us to bring us up and to keep an eye on our well-being. She is a patient and believing woman who trusts in Allah the Almighty. I ask Allah the Almighty to bless her with good health, wellness, and long life. As for my father, he is patient and strong due to Allah's Will. Also, he trusts in Allah the Almighty with the anguish he endures.
Dear Sheikh, my lovely mother has been through many difficult events in this life that have given us a strong immunity and taught us things we would not have learnt if we had not been through those difficult times, and praise be to Allah for helping us.
After having those tough experiences, we have fought against forbidden lusts and desires to remain strong believers with morals that accord with the Islamic Shari'ah, praise be to Allah. Furthermore, we have learnt that all those difficult miserable times we had been through are but trials from Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He.
Dear Sheikh, my patient mother favored staying with us until the rest of her life over the mortal adornments of the worldly life. I would like you to send her encouraging words to strengthen her will and make her more forbearing. As you know, man may become weak when it comes to his interests, but my mother always regains her strength, due to Allah's Favor upon her. She could have abandoned us to get married, but she abdicated her right, and she continued to raise us while waiting for my dear father to be released from prison. My father was sentenced to life imprisonment, because he was fighting for Allah's Sake against the invaders of Palestine.
May you make Du'a to Allah the Almighty for us, and I hope to receive a reply from you and to keep in touch, because I still have many things to tell you about insha' Allah.
The reply to the email:
I am replying to her email. It is reported in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad by Al-Bukhari:
(( (The first person to hold the door of Jannah is I (the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, but a woman wanted to enter Jannah before me, so I said, "Who is she, O Gabriel?" He said, "She is a woman whose husband died, and she did not marry again, preferring to raise her children.) ))
Accordingly, be glad, O patient mother who will enter Jannah with Allah's Messenger, and this is the greatest thing ever.
A precious piece of advice:
Dear noble brothers, it is permissible to spend money on your food and drink, but it is impermissible to spend money on trivial things, because there are people in Palestine who cannot afford their food, or even shelter. What marks your faith is your solidarity with your brothers (the Palestinians) who are tormented every day.
Dear noble brothers, we are going through a difficult time, and this sorrowful atmosphere may be inspiring in the sense that it gets us closer to Allah, and so we will be rewarded for our patience.
I beseech Allah the Almighty to protect all Muslims, and to protect this good country from the enemy's harm, plots, aggression, and violence.
Everything is under Allah's Control, so all we have to do is to repent to Him, to reconcile with Him, and to make Du'a to Him all the day and night, so that may Allah the Almighty remove this calamity from us.
Du'a:
O Allah, we beseech You to show us the way of righteousness together with those to whom You showed it; and to give us good health together with those whom You have healed; and to be our Protector, as You are of those whom You protect; and to bless what You have bestowed on us; and to save us from the affliction that You have decreed –for You rule with justice and You are never judged; and he whom You protect shall never be humiliated, and he whom You make Your enemy shall never be elevated, blessed and dignified are You. We thank You for what You have decreed, we ask You for Forgiveness for our sins, and we repent to You.
O Allah, please lead us to the good deeds, for no one leads to them but You; please lead us to the good conduct, for no one leads to it but You; please make us do well in the Deen, which is our dignity, make us do well in our worldly life, in which we dwell and grant us safety on the Day of Judgment for it is our Final Destination. O Allah, please supply our life with all good things and make our death a rest from every evil.
O our Master, the Lord of all Worlds, please make us desire what You have made lawful and reject what You have made unlawful, make us by Your benevolence independent of all others and make our obedience to You turn us away from our disobedience.
O Allah, send Your Peace and Blessings on the illiterate Prophet and and his Folks and Companions.
