A clear rule concerning Tawhid (monotheism):
Dear noble brothers, the Prophet, peace be upon him, does not know Ghaib (unseen), and the proof is in the following Ayaat:
﴾ "And I do not say to you that with me are the Treasures of Allah, "Nor that I know the Ghaib (unseen)… ﴿
﴾ Say (O Muhammad PBUH): "I possess no power of benefit or hurt to myself except as Allah wills. If I had the knowledge of the Ghaib (unseen), I should have secured for myself an abundance of wealth… ﴿
This part of the Ayah, "I possess no power of benefit or hurt to myself" manifests a fact about the Master of the P0rophets, peace be upon him, but Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, informed him of what will happen at the end of time. It is aAs if he were with us; he was informed about our suffering by Allah, Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, because Allah the Almighty knows what happened, what will happen, and what would have happened, had it happened.
Ahadeeth about the Signs of the Hour:
The 1st Hadith:
(( It was narrated that Ibn Umar said: "I was the tenth man among the other men in the Masjid of Allah's Messenger, peace be upon him. There were Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Ibn Mas'ud, Ibn Awf, Abu Sa'id al-Khidri, may Allah be pleased with them, and a young man from among the Ansar came to him and greeted the Prophet (PBUH) with Salam. Then he said: 'O Messenger of Allah, which of the believers is best?' He said: 'He who has the best manners among them.' He said: 'Which of them is wisest?' He said: 'The one who remembers death the most and is best in preparing for it. Those are the wisest.' The young man remained silent, then the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'O Muhajirun, there are five things with which you will be tested, and I seek refuge with Allah lest you live to see them: Immorality never appears among a people to such an extent that they commit it openly, but plagues and diseases that were never known among the predecessors will spread among them. They do not cheat in weights and measures but they will be stricken with famine, severe calamity and the oppression of their rulers. They do not withhold the Zakah of their wealth, but rain will be withheld from the sky, and were it not for the animals, no rain would fall on them. They do not break their covenant with Allah and His Messenger, but Allah will enable their enemies to overpower them and take some of what is in their hands. Unless their leaders rule according to the Book of Allah and seek all good from that which Allah has revealed, Allah will cause them to fight one another.' " ))
AIDS is one of the plagues which was not known in the past, but because of adultery and homosexuality it prevails.
As for the things that some of which are taken from the Muslims' hands, billions of US Dollars are taken from the hands of Muslims and given to their enemies every year, because our enemy are is planning to impoverish, mislead, ruin, and humiliate us. Needless to say that they are planning to annihilate us.
The westerners always look for the factors that unite their countries with each other, while we look for factors of separation, disagreements, hatred among us until civil wars are launched, and finally we turned into fragmented counties.
The 2nd Hadith:
Dear noble brothers, Abi Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
(( Allah's Messenger, peace be upon him, said: "As the time approaches - that is, as the Hour approaches - the wearing of clothes will increase, trade will increase, money will increase, the owner of wealth will be great with his money, and immorality will multiply, and there will be a leadership of boys, and many women, and there will be an imbalance in the scale small amount of weight - the abundance of women in public places, everywhere - and there will be a leadership of boys, and there will be a small amount of weight - the abundance of women At all times, on every road, in every market - and raising a puppy is better than raising a son, and the old do not respect the young are not respected , the young are not treated with do not show mercy to the young , and the children of fornication multiply, to the point where the man cheats on the woman on the side of the road, and they wear sheepskins to hide their wolfish hearts [this is diplomacy and courtesy, as the courteous is keen on his outfit and nice words at the expense of his religious teachings only to attract other people]. ))
The 3rd Hadith:
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:
(( It was related that the Messenger of Allah said: "Five (actions) entail (punishments)." They asked, "What does it mean?" He said: "Whenever some people break a covenant, Allah will entice their enemy to attack them. If they rule in other than Allah's Law, they will be plagued with poverty. If indecency (adultery) prevails them, there will be more deaths. If they give short scales or weights they will be deprived of tillage and will suffer the barren years. If they do not pay Zakat, there will be no rain." ))
The 4th Hadith:
The following is the 4th Hadith:
(( Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The Hour will not be established till my followers copy the deeds of the previous nations and follow them very closely, span by span, and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch)." It was said, "O Allah's Messenger (PBUH)! Do you mean by those (nations) the Persians and the Byzantines?" The Prophet said, "Who can it be other than they?" ))
Our traditions, our dressing codes, our houses, our celebrations, our pains, our joys, our academic curricula, our women's fashion and our protocols have all been taken from the west. A five-star hotel can only be authorized and recognized if alcohol is offered at it; as if it were a rule revealed in the Quran!
If the young people in the west are used to wear patched clothes to look stylish, our young people imitate them blindly. This kind of negative imitation is referred to in the Prophetic Hadith:
(( "…Even if they entered a hole of a mastigure, you would follow them." ))
A westerner fashion designer controls Muslim women's dressing code, encouraging them to show their private parts, and reveal their beauty because this is the way he designs the outfits.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, was informed by Allah the Almighty about the things that take place in our era, because I said earlier in this Khutbah, the Noble Prophet does not know Al-Ghaib (the unseen).
The 5th Hadith:
Here is the 5th Hadith:
(( Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, "The Hour will not be established till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine… ))
Both parties believe in the Noble Quran, and both of them have Masajid to worship Allah but they are fighting against one another. You can see this in Iraq where the civil war causes the killing of about 100 people, leaving many other many people injured on a daily basis.
The 6th Hadith:
Pay attention to the following Hadith, please:
(( Abu Musa narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Before the Hour comes there will be Harj." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is Harj?" He said: "Killing." ))
(( By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, the world would not come to an end until a day would come to the people on which the murderer would not know as to why he has killed and the slain would not know as to why he has been murdered. ))
(( …For in the coming time, there will be days of patience in which the patient believer will be as the one who holds the live coal. [On a day when the believer's heart will melt because of what he witnesses and being incapable of changing anything. If he speaks out, he will be killed… ))
Listen to the Hadith Qudsi, please:
(( Ma'qil ibn Yasār (may Allah be pleased him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Worship in times of chaos and killing is like migration towards me." ))
You will receive the reward of the emigrant companions when you keep worshipping Allah properly in a time of trials. It is the time when the truthful is belied, but the liar is believed, when the unfaithful is trusted, but the trustworthy is accused of treason, and when the Munkar is enjoined, but the Ma'ruf is forbidden as the former is considered Ma'ruf, whereas the latter is considered Munkar. It is the time when women walk indecently half-naked, so they are cursed. I repeat the Hadith Qudsi:
(( Ma'qil ibn Yasār (may Allah be pleased him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Worship in times of chaos and killing is like migration towards me." ))
The 7th Hadith:
(( It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say: 'The Hour will not begin until the sun rises from the west (i.e. the place of its setting). ))
Interpretations of the aforementioned Hadith:
This Hadith has many interpretations and understanding favoring a few of these interpretations does not disqualify the literal meaning of it. One of the interpretations is that the word west stands for science, values, etiquette, sophistication, diplomacy, and the hotel standards that are taken from the west. When the west dominate us and their life-style controls ours, the door of repentance is closed, because whoever follows them, mistakenly thinks that he is doing the right thing, and so there is no need for repentance. According to him, religion stands for backwardness, poverty, and ignorance, whereas the west are is the role model for sophistication, civilization, progress, and stylish life, and so he follows them.
Unfortunately, most Muslims have an obsession of mimicking foreigners:
(( "…Even if they entered a hole of a mastigure, you would follow them." ))
Listen to this Hadith, please:
(( Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The Hour will not be established until the happiest of people in the world is Luka' bin Luka'." ))
There are people in the west who are drug dealers, and they have mansions, luxurious cars, many modern vehicles and private planes. The profits they make from drugs for the one kilo in the place where they are consumed is 100.000 times more than where they are planted. The profit made from selling one kilo of drugs at the consumers’ is 100,000 more than what it is sold at the farm where it is planted. Those people live their lives fe at the expense of others' as they are arms dealers. Furthermore, they make tremendous amounts of money from the 23 million porn websites and 400 pornographic satellite channels. Who runs these those channels? Who creates these those websites? Who runs nightclubs and bars? There is a narrow street which is lined with 90 nightclubs. The people who are responsible for spreading corruption among Muslims have huge incomes, vehicles, palaces, houses, cars, prominent social position, public relations, and networks
(( Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The Hour will not be established until the happiest of people in the world is Luka' bin Luka'." ))
The 8th Hadith:
Due to the miserable situation of most people at the end of time, they will have the same wish mentioned in the following Hadith:
(( Abu Hurairah reported Allah's Messenger (PBUH) as saying: By Him, in Whose hand is my life, the world would not come to an end until a person would pass by a grave, would roll over it and say, 'I wish I were in the place of the occupant of that grave' not because of religious reasons but because of this calamity. ))
In another narration:
(( Abu Hurairah reported Allah's Messenger (PBUH) as saying: "The world would not come to an end until a person would pass by a grave and say, 'I wish I were in his grave.' " ))
The 9th Hadith:
(( Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "When your leaders are the best of you, the richest are the most generous among you, and your affairs are consulted among you, then the surface of the earth is better for you than its belly. And when your leaders are the worst of you, the richest are the stingiest among you, and your affairs are referred to your women, then the belly of the earth is better for you than its surface." ))
The 10th Hadith:
One of the Signs of the Hour is mentioned in the following Hadith:
(( The hour shall not be established until time is constricted… ))
You can reach the furthest part in the world in 17 hours by plane, while the companions in the era of the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to spend two months to reach the Levant. I repeat the Hadith:
(( The hour shall not be established until time is constricted, and the year is like a month, a month is like the week, and the week is like the day, and the day is like the hour, and the hour is like the flare of the fire. ))
You can notice how the news reaches us very fast. The Hour will come when only the worst type of people are left. They are the ones who go have gone astray like the cattle, who have no good left inside in them, and who have no weight in Allah's Sight. Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not give them any weight. ﴿
They will be humiliated and disgraced by Allah the Almighty, since they have sold their religion for mundane and trivial things in the worldly life, for false oath, or for a house or a company that is taken by force.
The 11th Hadith:
One of the Signs of the Hour is mentioned in the following Hadith
(( It is from the signs of the Last Hour that knowledge would be taken away, ignorance would prevail upon (the world), adultery would become common, wine would be drunk, the number of men will fall short and the women would survive (and thus such a disparity would arise in the number of men and women) that there would be one man to look after fifty women. ))
The major job of the woman is raising her children and taking care of her husband.
(( A woman who refuses to get married after her husband's death in order to look after her children will be with me in Paradise. ))
It was reported in the relic:
(( The first one who opens the gate of Paradise is me, but there will be a woman who struggles with me to enter Paradise before me. Then I said, "O Jibril, who is she?" He said, "She is a woman whose husband died and left children behind, so she refused to remarry because of her children (she prefers to raise up her children to getting married)." ))
Whenever you go shopping, and whenever you attend a forum, you will notice that the majority of attendees are women. If the women raise awareness in their meetings, then it is good, if they intend to launch a project, then it is even better to attend such meetings, and if they gather to start a charity project, then it is even much better. However, if women are greater in number than men in a place where there are is disobedience, immorality, and indecency, then this is a disaster.
The 12th Hadith:
(( Narrated [Anas (may Allah be pleased with him)]: Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: "The Hour (Judgement Day) will not come until people boast (to each other) with (the construction and decoration of) Masajid. ))
People will praise one another in an exaggerating manner using extremely flattering words.
The 13th Hadith:
It was reported in the relic:
(( The Last Hour will not come util the earth is filled with oppression and injustice. ))
Do you notice what is going on during the war on Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon?
The 14th Hadith:
One of the Signs of the Hour is mentioned in this Hadith:
(( The earth will be filled with oppression and injustice till my brother Jesus comes down to fill it with justice and fairness. ))
The 15th Hadith:
(( The Resurrection Day will not come till tribulations show up, sins are frequently committed and markets approach (when markets affect each other's trading)." ))
The peoples’ most important activity of people is going shopping. A woman once entered into a street where there were many a large marketplaces, and she exclaimed, "O Allah, how many are the things we do not need!"
The 16th Hadith:
(( The Hour will not be established until the open illegal sexual intercourse and misery prevail, the liar is believed, the truthful is called a traitor, and the traitor will be entrusted. ))
The 17th hadith:
(( Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world… ))
The Prophet, peace be upon him, passed by a grave, and he said:
(( The buried person of this grave considers a simple prayer that you scorn and belittle of value is worth your whole worldly life. ))
Some people spend their life holding or attending parties, gossiping, backbiting, watching silly tv series, looking at the private parts of others, boasting about their properties, and so on.
(( Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet (PBUH) said: People who get up from an assembly in which they did not remember Allah will be just as if they had got up from an ass's corpse, and it will be a cause of grief to them. ))
Some people gather to talk about trivial matters, to have make silly comments, to say dirty jokes, to criticize others, or to mock other people. Some people give themselves the right to criticize others in a harsh way, evaluate them according to their own standards, call them names, or accuse them of things they have not done. Unfortunately, most sessions of Muslims are full of blasphemy, innovation, or polytheism. They talk about mundane and worthless issues.
The 18th Hadith
(( It is narrated on the authority of Anas that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The Hour (Resurrection) will not occur as long as anyone says: There is no Deity worthy of worship but Allah Alone." ))
Here is another Hadith:
(( It is narrated on the authority of Anas that verily the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The Hour (Resurrection) will not occur until 'Allah, Allah' is not said on earth." ))
This is the miserable reality:
I attended a conference on family, and there were a group of Arab psychologists and sociologists there. By Allah, the only Deity, eight lectures were given on the first day, and four lectures were given on the second day, but no lecturer mentioned Allah or Islam at all. The religious matters were completely neglected, and they were not referred to intentionally despite the fact that the familial issues are closely relation related to Islamic teachings and to the religious matters. The Ayaat and Ahadeeth in which the wife and the husband are instructed and guided are countless.
We have Muslim psychologists and sociologists, yet they take their knowledge from the western atheist countries . porn west.
A psychiatrist in the foreign countries advises his married patient to have an affair with a woman other than his wife in order to get better! This is normal in those countries.
I would like to repeat the Hadith:
(( It is narrated on the authority of Anas that verily the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The Hour (Resurrection) will not occur until 'Allah, Allah' is not said on earth." ))
In all meetings, conferences, and forums, the religious issues are never raised or discussed.
The 19th Hadith:
Listen to the following Hadith, please:
(( The Hour will not be established except on scum of people ))
Those people care about their food, desires, joys, trips, travels, appearances, positions, and wealth. They are preoccupied with collecting huge amounts of money to enjoy themselves at the expense of other people. They build their glory on the ruins of other people, they make their money through impoverishing people, they empower themselves through weakening other people, they maintain their security through terrifying other people and they protect their lives through causing the death of other people.
The 20th Hadith:
(( The Hour will not be established until the earth is filled with bloodshed ))
You can see blood everywhere: on cars, in streets, and in the hospitals due to bloodshed and purposeless killing.
The Hour will not come until the earth is covered with blood and Islam is estranged.
The 21st Hadith:
(( The Hour will not be established until Allah's Book is considered a stigma. ))
Has not Allah's Book been defiled in America?
Listen to this Hadith, please:
(( The Hour will not be established until time is constricted, and Islam's knots will be unlaced one by one ))
It is the time when the unfaithful is trusted, but the trustworthy is accused of treason and when the truthful is belied, but the liar is believed. I repeat the Hadith:
(( Abu Musa narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Before the Hour comes there will be Harj." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is Harj?" He said: "Killing." ))
(( Before the Hour comes, oppression, envy and stinginess prevails. Matters twisted among people and desires are followed. Things are judged according to people's doubts and knowledge is seized. Ignorance prevails and the child becomes rude. ))
I receive hundreds of calls from parents expressing their dissatisfaction with their children. They complain against about their children, because they have become the main reason of stress, and they have turned became into a calamity from Allah. The rude child comes home at midnight, mistreats his parents, beats his brothers and sisters, eats alone, and asks for money rudely.
As it is mentioned in the above Hadith, one of the Signs of the Hour is that the child becomes undutiful to his parents. A man, whom I endear, swore to Allah that if a car drives over his son, he will be pleased and will have a party for this celebrate . His son breaks whatever he sees before him, he blackmails him, and he lets puts his father in a lot of debt. him his huge debts. I repeat the Hadith:
(( The Hour will not come until the child is undutiful, the rain is worthless, the mean are very big in number… ))
You may be shocked by the mistreatment of someone who pretends that he to honors you, while actually he dishonors you. This is one of the Signs of the Hour:
(( The Hour will not come until the child is undutiful, the rain is worthless, the mean people are very big in number, the noble are very small in number, the young mistreat and disrespect the elderly and the mean disrespect the noble. ))
A wise man was asked, "What is humiliation." He replied, "It is when the noble man stands at the door of the mean man asking for help but the latter refuses to help him." Regarding this point, Imam Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "I swear twice by Allah the Almighty that digging two wells with two needles, sweeping the land of Hijaz on a stormy day with two feathers, washing two black servants until they become white and moving two big rivers from their places with two sieves are easier to me than asking an ill-mannered man to help me pay a debt!"
The 22nd Hadith:
One more Hadith about the Signs of the Hour:
(( The Hour will not be established until the hypocrites have the upper hand among their peoples ))
The 23rd Hadith:
The hypocrites will be praised. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:
(( Before the Hour comes, there will be people who make their living from their tongue (courteous words). ))
The whore makes money by revealing her body, while the hypocrite makes money by his flattering words, which is intellectual prostitution.
(( Before the Hour comes, there will be people who make their living from their tongue (courteous words). ))
The hypocrite talks about the matters he does not believe in only to satisfy and please the rich and the powerful. He makes his living by hypocrisy.
The 24th Hadith:
(( Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "In the end of time there shall come men who will swindle the world with religion… ))
There are countless Fatawa (religious opinions) which have no origin or base in Shari'ah (Islamic Law). They are fabricated to please the powerful people.
(( Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "In the end of time there shall come men who will swindle the world with religion… ))
You may hear of a charitable project, which is a concert that is held to give its revenues to an orphanage, but this is unacceptable in Islam. The same goes for the charity lottery, which is used to help the poor.
(( Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "In the end of time there shall come men who will swindle the world with religion, decieving deceiving the people in soft skins of sheep, their tongues are sweeter than sugar and their hearts are the hearts of wolves. Allah [Mighty and Sublime is He] says: 'Is it me you try to delude or is it against me whom you conspire? By Me, I swear to send upon these people, among them, a Fitnah that leaves them utterly devoid of reason." ))
The 25th Hadith:
(( Abdullah [bin Mas'ud] narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "In the end of time there will come a people young in years, foolish in minds, reciting the Qur'an which will not go beyond their throats, uttering sayings from the best of creatures, going through the religion as an arrow goes through the target." ))
The 26th Hadith:
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:
(( People having whips similar to ox-tails with which they will beat people, they come and go in discontent of Allah. ))
The 27th Hadith:
(( There will come at the end of time people whose faces will be the faces of humans, and their hearts will be the hearts of devils, like predatory wolves. There is no mercy in their hearts, and they are blood shedders. If you follow them, they betray you, if you are not with they them, they gossip about it, if they talk to you they lie to you, and if you entrusted them with something, they betray the trust. The little boys among them are half-naked, and the young men among them are cunning. The old people among them neither enjoin Ma'ruf (good) nor forbid Munkar (evil). Cherishing them causes humiliation, and seeking what is in their hands causes poverty. The forbearing among them is a deceiver, and the one who enjoins good is a criminal, the believer among them is weak, and the wicked among them is honorable. The Sunnah among them is heresy, and heresy among them is Sunnah. Allah will let the evil people rule them, and the good among them will supplicate Allah, but their supplications will not be responded to. ))
The 28th Hadith:
Dear noble brothers, the Prophet, peace be upon him, was asked about the Hour in the following Hadith:
(( He said: "O Messenger of Allah, when will the Hour be?' He said: 'The one who is being asked about it does not know more than the one who is asking. But I will tell you about its signs. When the slave woman gives birth to her mistress that is one of its signs. When the shepherds compete in constructing tall buildings that is one of its signs… ))
This Khutbah is not meant to make you desperate:
Dear noble brothers, there are many Ahadeeth about the Hour, but I have chosen the authenticated ones that are mentioned in al-Bukhari and Muslim's Sahih, and I have chosen the clearest ones. The Prophet, peace be upon him, told us about the prevalence hypocrisy, debauchery, disobedience, lying, backbiting, gossip, and ill-gotten money, but this Khutbah is not meant to make you desperate; rather, the Khutbah is intended to raise awarenesss be cautious, and Allah, Exalted and Sublime be He, treats each of us according to his steadfastness and righteous deeds.
You are the master at home and at work, so if you act upon Allah's Order in all your affairs, Allah will suffice you.
﴾ And no bearer of burdens shall bear another's burden… ﴿
Allah the Almighty sent His Angels to destroy a village, so the Angels said, "There is a righteous person in it." Allah the Almighty said, "Start with him." They asked Allah the Almighty, "Why should we do that, O Lord?" Allah the Almighty said, "Because he never frowned upon watching Munkar is committed." Allah the Almighty says:
﴾ And thus We do deliver the believers (who believe in the Oneness of Allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness). ﴿
As a believer, Allah the Almighty will treat you in a special way, so be assured and pacified. All the Ahadeeth I have mentioned so far are not applied to do not apply to the believer. This fact is indicated in the following Ayaat:
﴾ Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves… ﴿
﴾ Or those who do evil deeds think that they can outstrip Us (i.e. escape Our Punishment)? Evil is that which they judge! ﴿
Is he whom We have promised an excellent promise (Paradise), which he will find true, like him whom We have made to enjoy the luxuries of the life of (this) world, then on the Day of Resurrection, he will be among those brought up (to be punished in the Hell-fire)?
﴾ Shall We then treat the (submitting) Muslims like the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists and disbelievers, etc.)?* What is the matter with you? How judge you? ﴿
﴾ Is then he who is a believer like him who is Fasiq (disbeliever and disobedient to Allah)? Not equal are they. ﴿
It is a thousand times impossible for Allah the Almighty to treat the steadfast believing young man who establishes Islam in his own self, at home, and at work, as common people. I am not saying this to make you desperate; not at all, but I am just warning you about the prevailing corruption around us. As you can see, people in the Islamic societies incline to singing, dancing, and immorality, and other silly things, which is disastrous. We should apply Sunnah and avoid innovations.
I say my words asking for Allah's Forgiveness for me and for you, so ask for His Forgiveness as those are forgiven are the ones who prosper.

The 2nd Khutbah:
Praise be to Allah, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the Protector of righteous people; and I bear witness that Prophet Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, whose character is exalted. O Allah, our Lord, have peace and blessings upon our Master Muhammad, upon his Folks and upon his Companions.
Glad tiding to Muslims:
The 1st glad tiding: Congratulation to Muslims in the Levant:
Here is a glad tiding. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said in the Noble Hadith reported by An-Nasa'i:
(( …And the place of safety for the believers is Ash-Sham. ))
You are in the best country at the end of time. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:
(( I saw a pillar of the book was taken from underneath my pillow and I looked and it was an extending light directed toward As-Shaam. ))
We are fine. Dear noble brothers, the Masajid are full of people who attend them for Salah, the majority of the houses are mostly disciplined, and our girls are veiled. However, you should know that the white line represents al-Haqq (the truth), and the black line represents al-Batil (falsehood); these two lines have gradually expanded at the expense of the gray lines. In the end, there is Haqq that is crystal-clear, and there is batil that is clear too. Also, there are belief and disbelief, benevolence and abuse, justice and injustice. The point is that things are obvious, so the glad tiding is to the one who abides by the Sunnah, and who is not tempted by any innovation.
A Prophetic instruction:
Pay attention to the following Prophetic instruction, please:
(( …But if you see overwhelming stinginess [the devastating materialism], desires being followed [running after sex], this world being preferred (to the Hereafter), every person with an opinion feeling proud of it, and you realize that you have no power to deal with it, then you have to mind your own business and leave the common folk to their own devices. ))
The 2nd glad tiding: There will always be a victorious group:
Listen to the following Hadith, please:
(( It has been narrated on the authority of Thauban that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: A group of people from my Ummah will always remain triumphant on the right path and continue to be triumphant (against their opponents). He who deserts them shall not be able to do them any harm. They will remain in this position until Allah's Command is executed (i.e. Qiyamah is established). In Qutaiba's version of the tradition, we do not have the words:" They will remain in this position." ))
Ibn Yakhamer said: "I heard Mu'ath saying, "They are the people of the Levant."
The following is another Hadith, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said
(( It has been related by, Yazid b. al-Asamm that he heard Mu'awiya b. Abu Sufyan quote a tradition from the Prophet (PBUH) which he related from the Prophet (mail maypeace he upon him) -and he did not hear him quote from the Prophet (masy peace be upon him) any tradition other than this in the course of his sermon from the pulpit-that whom Allah wants to do a favour, He grants him an understanding of religion. A group of people from the Muslims will remain on the Right Path and continue until the Day of Judgment to triumph over those who oppose them. ))
The 3rd glad tiding: This knowledge will be preserved:
We come to the last Hadith in this Khutbah:
(( Ibrahim b. Abd ar-Rahman al-Udhri reported Allah's Messenger as saying, "In every successive century those who are reliable authorities will preserve this knowledge, rejecting the changes made by extremists, the plagiarisms of those who make false claims for themselves, and the interpretations of the ignorant." ))
I hope we will be with this group of people:
(( Rejecting the changes made by extremists, the plagiarisms of those who make false claims for themselves, and the interpretations of the ignorant." ))
Du'a:
O Allah, we beseech You to show us the way of righteousness together with those to whom You showed it; and to give us good health together with those whom You have healed; and to be our Protector, as You are of those whom You protect; and to bless what You have bestowed on us; and to save us from the affliction that You have decreed –for You rule with justice and You are never judged; and he whom You protect shall never be humiliated, and he whom You make Your enemy shall never be elevated, blessed and dignified are You. We thank You for what You have decreed, we ask You for Forgiveness for our sins, and we repent to You.
O Allah, please lead us to the good deeds, for no one leads to them but You; please lead us to the good conduct, for no one leads to it but You; please make us do well in the Deen, which is our dignity, make us do well in our worldly life, in which we dwell and grant us safety on the Day of Judgment for it is our Final Destination. O Allah, please supply our life with all good things and make our death a rest from every evil.
O our Master, the Lord of all Worlds, please make us desire what You have made lawful and reject what You have made unlawful, make us by Your benevolence independent of all others and make our obedience to You turn us away from our disobedience.
O Allah, by Your Mercy and Benevolence, raise high the word of Al-Haqq and this Deen, grant triumph to Islam, dignify Muslims and lead the rulers of Muslims to what pleases You, O Lord of the Worlds, as You are the only One Who is capable over His decreed and Who responds to our supplication.
