The Beautiful Name of Allah 'Al-Hameed' (The Most Praiseworthy)
Undoubtedly, Ramadan is the month of showing gratefulness and thankfulness to Allah the Almighty (Who multiplies the reward for our good deeds greatly during it), which reminds us of the Name of Allah 'Al-Hameed' (The Only One Who is truly Worthy of all praise and thanks)
Actually, dispraising is the opposite of praising, because the latter is related to faultlessness, while the former is related to imperfection. In other words, man instinctively praises perfection and dispraises faultiness. However, since Absolute Perfection belongs to Allah the Almighty Alone, He is the only One Who deserves boundless praise. Furthermore, we always praise Him during prayers since Surat Al-Fatihah, which we should recite in every single rak'ah of the prayer, begins with praising Allah the Almighty. He says:
(All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).)

It goes without saying that Allah the Almighty has bestowed countless blessing upon us, such as the water we drink, the food we eat, and the houses we dwell in, etc. consequently, He is the Only One Who deserves to be praised and worshipped. However, the ignorant people who worship other than Him, such as those who worship cows or who worship the sun, attribute these blessings to other than Him. So, Allah the Almighty is the Only One Who is truly Worthy of our praise. He says:
(All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).)
The meanings of Al-Hameed
Some scholars say, "Al-Hameed is the Most Praiseworthy; He praised Himself and called Himself 'Al-Hameed' in pre-eternity when nothing did exist except He Himself alone. Then after the creation of the universe, everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies His praises." Other scholars say, "Al-Hameed is the only One Who is worthy of praise and the Only One Who deserves acknowledgment". Let me give you an example, if someone invites you and other guests to a lavish banquet, you will never give your thanks to the other guest sitting next to you after you finish eating, but rather you will thank the one who has hold that banquet and has invited you to it (likewise, we should thank Allah the Almighty for showering His countless Blessings upon us).Also, some scholars say, "Al-Hameed is the One Who guides you to perform good deeds then rewards you greatly for them, and Who forgives and removes your sins then never reminds you of them or make you feel deeply ashamed of them."
Consider this saying, "If Allah wants to reveal His Bounty upon you, He creates it then attributes it to you". For example, if Allah the Almighty bestows upon you plenty of wealth, and you spend your wealth for His Sake, you will receive great reward from Him even though it is Allah the Almighty Who has granted you that wealth. Moreover, during the month of Ramadan, the true believer feels how great the Grace of Allah upon him is; although it is Allah the Almighty Who guides him to performing righteous deeds, such as fasting and performing supererogatory night prayers, He will reward him generously for them. The Prophet, may Allah's Peace and Blessings be upon him, said:
(Every good deed of Adam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.' Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk)
