Facts about Spider web: 

We will see a sketch from a scientific encyclopedia about spiders. Indeed, there are incredible facts about this insect, and its web is one of the most amazing designs. 
Every house has a spider web in one of its corners. The spider web is considered one of the most extraordinary designed web. It also has a distinguished structure. Allah the Almighty says: 

(And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty)

[Adh-Dhariyat, 20]

The whole universe is a reflection of Allah's Oneness, Existence and Perfection. Not to mention, the whole universe is a manifestation of Allah's Most Beautiful Names and His Exalted Attributes.  
Well, the spider web is one of the wonders, and had the spider been as big as the human being, its web would have been as high as a 150 meter high skyscraper of 50 floors. 
Moreover, had the spider spin a web that is 50 meters wide, a jet aircraft would not be able to penetrate it. 
I will show you how spider thread is 5 times stronger than steel wire. Needless to say, seek is considered the strongest material from which elevators and chair lifts are made. 
The spider builds a structure of its house, and then it looks for a place to make it a base for its house. After that, it makes a thread from its salvia as it goes out and touches the air. Then, it links the thread with something strong.
Hence, the spider starts to structure the house by weaving webs from the centre out. Then, it designs the far borders of its web, and it gets back to the centre, weaving the interior webs in a 60 times faster manner. It takes the spider one hour to build its house. 
Actually, the spider web is amazing in its design, structure and strength. 
Pay attention to the Ayah, in which Allah the Almighty says:   
 

(But verily, the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider's house)

[Al-Ankabut, 41]

Scientists say that the weakness of the spider's house is due to its shaky domestic relations. In other words, the relation between the male spider and the female spider is very bad. The same goes for the relation between the female spider and its small spiders. This makes the house of the spider is very fragile.   
Let us continue watching the structure of the spider’s house; we can notice how its manifests a geometrical diagram. 
Now, we move to the strength of the spider thread compared to a steel cable. The spider thread is 5 times stronger than a steel cable as a spider thread of  30 millimeter diameter can lift 150 cars.      

Kevlar thread is made by imitating the spider thread: 

Man imitated the spider thread in producing a thread called Kevlar. This fiber is used in manufacturing many products such as steel vests. As you know, the speed of a bullet is 150 meters per second, so it can penetrate everything in its way. However, Kevlar is bulletproof. 
Though this thread is produced by imitating the spider thread, the spider thread, and the Kevlar thread is 10 times stronger than the Kevlar thread. The Kevlar thread is used to make bulletproof clothes.
The spider silk is thinner than a human hair, lighter than a cotton thread and stronger than a steel cable.  Allah the Almighty says: 

(This is the creation of Allah. So show Me that which those (whom you worship), besides Him have created.)

[Luqman, 11] 

In the industrial field, there are strong and hard materials; diamond is the hardest material which can bear high pressure. Steel, on the other hand, is the strongest material for pulling things, that’s why bridges are made of steel. These things are Signs that indicate Allah's Greatness, and pondering over the creation of the heavens and the earth is the shortest path to know Allah and the widest gate through which man can approach Him.
