The derivatives of the word “Glorify”:
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it. And Who has measured; and then guided. And Who brings out the pasturage, And then makes it dark stubble.”
This is the first part, "Glorify" is an imperative, and all the derivatives of this infinitive are mentioned in the Qur'an, as the infinitive of Glorify is “glorified” Allah said:“Glorified be He (Allah) Who took His slave(Muhammad[p.b.u.h])for a journey by night”
And in many other verses such as:“Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah”
"Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah"
So it was in infinitive form in the following Ayah:“Glorified be He (Allah) Who took His slave(Muhammad[p.b.u.h])for a journey by night”
And it was in the present tense in the following Ayah:
"Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah
And it stayed as an imperative in the Ayah:
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High"
Glorification is Exaltation:
What is the meaning of "glorify"?We have different meanings of the word glorify, we have Sabbeh “Glorify” as an imperative, and Sabbaha “Glorified” in the past tense, and Sabaha “Swim” which has three meanings in Arabic first of which is that someone is more conversationalist than the other, the second is to swim, and the third is to dive deep in the ground, so the word Sabaha “swim” holds the meaning of wondering around and moving, also if we say Sabaha Al Qaum “The guys swim” means they spread through, but the word (the subject of this lecture) Sabbaha “glorify” means praying in the following Ayah:
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High”
Some say that glorification means exaltation, or to deem Allah far above what is inappropriate to Him, for example we can say that you are existed and Allah is Existed, yet His Existence is unlike yours.You were created out of nothing and will end in Nonexistence, but Allah the Exalted and Glorious is Eternal, Everlasting, and when we say: glorify Allah, we mean praise Him highly and exalt Him above all what is inappropriate for Him of human’s attributes, if you say:
“Verily, this (the Qur'an) is the Word that separates (the truth from the falsehood, and commands strict laws for mankind to cut the roots of the evil). And it is not a thing of amusement. Verily, they are but plotting a plot(against you O Muhammad{p.b.u.h}). And I (too) am planning a plan.”
The meaning of "glorify" is: interpret this verse in a way that is appropriate to His Being, the Most High (as Allah’s plan can’t be compared to people’s plotting):“They were plotting and Allah too was plotting ;and Allah is the Best of those who plot.”
The meaning of "glorify" here is to exalt Allah above the plotting of humans, because the plot of the people is evil, but when Allah plots, He does this in the favor of people.
The word “Knowledge” means acquaintance of Allah:
When we read:
“And if We had willed, surely We would have given every person his guidance, but the Word from Me took effect(about evil-doers), that I will fill Hill with jinn and mankind together.”
If we say:“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High”
Allah meant for this Ayah to fall within what is appropriate to His Merciful entity, and the meaning of glorification is the exaltation, but the question to be is: Who glorifies Allah the Almighty?It is he who knows Him. Therefore glorification’s meaning includes the acquaintance of Allah the Almighty.
A Bedouin asked the Prophet (p.b.u.h), he said: O Allah's Messenger, I came to you to teach me about quasi sciences (none-academically based sciences), the Prophet (p.b.u.h) said: what have you done with the origin of science? The Bedouin said: What is the origin of science? The Prophet said: Do you have any acquaintance of Allah? The Prophet said: [the head of the religion is the acquaintance of Allah].
Wherever the word "Al-Elm" (knowledge) is mentioned either in the Qur'an or in the Sunna (the Prophetic Traditions), it means the acquaintance of Allah:“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High”
The Ayah means to Exalt Him above all what is inappropriate to Him, and when does that occur?
It is a rule of thumb that when you hear something bad about someone whom you know very well, you will be the aptest person to deny it because of your acquaintance of him. The same applies when you have acquaintance of Allah the Almighty, as when you know Allah that well, you will deny and disapprove anything that is inappropriate to His divine entity.
We can’t glorify Allah unless we know Him:
Therefore, no one can glorify Allah unless he/she knows Him, but unfortunately, at the end of days, most people void these great words of their real meaning so their comprehension of words like:“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High”
Comes down to holding a rosary and repeat saying: Subhan Allah (glorify Allah), subhana Allah and the heart is distracted.This isn't the glorification, yet glorification should be by exalting Allah above everything that is unsuitable to Him:
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High”
Did you exalt Allah above all what is inappropriate to Him? How can I exalt You my Lord? Allah the Great and Almighty says to you: Did you know Me?
[O son of Adam! Ask for Me and you will find Me and if you find Me you will have found everything, but if you lose Me you will have lost everything. And I should be dearer than everything to you.].
Therefore, what did he who failed to know Allah gain, and what did he who knows Him lose? If Allah is with you, who will be against you, and if He is against you, who will be with you:
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High”
Namely, try to know Allah so that you can glorify Him. If you read the Ayah:
"Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him."
If you glorify Allah (you knew Allah), you will say: He inspired the soul that this deed is wrong, but if you are one of those who doesn’t know Allah, you will say: He inspired the soul to do this bad deed, as if you are saying that Allah leads the soul to do the wrong deed then He punishes it by hellfire, while the correct meaning is: He gives the soul an inner balance for every deed by feeling hardship when committing sins so that the soul knows that it is a bad deed, but on the other hand if someone doesn’t know Allah, he/she will think that this Ayah means that Allah lead souls to sin.
Acquaintance of Allah is the gist of religion:
If you are glorifying Allah and you read the following Ayah:"While Allah has created you and what you make!"
You will search for the complement of this Ayah to get the full meaning of it and you will find the following:"He said:" Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve?While Allah has created you and what you make!"
Thus, you will say: the context of this verse is warning against the idolatry."He said:" Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve?While Allah has created you and what you make!"
If you know Allah and glorify Him, and you read the following Ayah:
“He cannot be asked questioned as to what He does, while they will be questioned.”
You will say: He cannot be questioned as to what He does because of His Justice that silences the mouths, but if you do not know Him, you will say: Because of His Might, who can question Him? What a difference between the two meanings.
Hence, the glorification is the exaltation, and this cannot be without the knowledge, because of that, the knowledge about Allah is the core of the religion, as the Prophet (p.b.u.h) said:
[ Acquantance of Allah is the core of my religion, the love is my basis, the longing is my vehicle, and the remembrance of Allah is my companion, the poverty is my pride, the contentment is my extend, the certainty is my strength, knowledge is my weapon, poverty is my garb, contentment is my gain, and my joy is satisfied by the prayer].
The acquaintance of Allah is the core of the religion that makes the acquaintance of Allah is our moral capital.
Other meanings of the word Sabbaha (glorified):
The word "glorify": if we say, for example, to a student seek a high degree, what will be understood of this question? It will be to enroll to a university and seek for that degree, in other words, that means studying hard, isn’t that true?Same goes with the word "glorify" as it is a Divine Order that includes another order, that is: know Allah to glorify and to exalt Him.
For this reason the human being was created:
[ I created the heavens and the earth for you, so do not exhaust yourself, and I created you for Myself, so do not dally (play), by My Right on you, do not busy yourself with what I have ensured for you over what I have enjoined you].
It is a Divine Order: glorify is to say: the Existence of Allah the Exalted and Glorious is unlike ours, His Hearing is unlike ours, His Sight is unlike ours, His Patience (Forbearance) is unlike ours, and His deed is unlike ours, exalt Him above what is unsuitable for Him. This is a sense; there is another sense, the veneration, and there are more meanings of "glorify", among which is to rove the kingdom/dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to reflect on the Greatness of Allah the Great and Almighty."He is Who has appointed for you the night that you may rest therein, and the day to make things visible(to you). Verily, in this are Ayat(proofs, evidences,signs, verses.etc.) for a people who listen(i.e. those who think deeply)."
How are deluded away from the truth you are? What is your destiny? What does distract you? What does keep you busy? What will save you? What is your purpose?...etc.Allah said:
"Thus were turned away those who used to deny the Ayat (proofs, verses,signs, etc.) of Allah."
Know Allah in prosperity He looks after you in your hour of need:
If you do not cogitate about the Ayat of Allah, you will turn to something else, if you do not reflect on the signs that Allah created in heaven and earth, and in the creation of human, animal, and plant, you will turn to other than Him.i.e. worldly life.So, the word "glorify" means know Allah so you can exalt and venerate Him, hence,[ know Allah in prosperity, He will know you in the adversity].
"Take the opportunities of five before five (that may happen afterwards):
Your youth before your senescence, your health before your illness, and your spare time before being busy, and your richness before your poverty, and your life before your death".
"Hasten to do good deeds".
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,"
Therefore, the word "glorify" means know Allah so you can exalt and venerate Him, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) said:
" The favorable judgment about Allah is the price of the Paradise"
Whoever poorly perceives Allah’s actions certainly does not know Him, whoever thinks that Allah created the creatures to torment them does not know Allah, whoever thinks that Allah sent incomplete Messengers does not know Allah (as His Messengers should be seen as the symbol of the human perfection), and whoever thinks that Allah created us purposeless does not know Him.“And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them without purpose! That is the consideration of those who disbelieve! Then woe to those disbelieve from the Fire!”
Either Human knows Allah or not:
Whoever thinks that we were created vainly doesn’t know Allah, Allah says:"Did you think that We had created you in play(without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us? So Exalted be Allah, the True King:La ilahaa illa Huwa(none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne!”
”And you were harbouring doubts about Allah.”
Human being belongs to one of two parties: those who know Allah, or those who don’t, so he who knows Him will comprehend the wisdom behind everything, whereas he who doesn’t know Him will never comprehend the wisdom behind anything and consequently will be the biggest loser on Doomsday.Therefore, Sabbaha means glorify which needs acquaintance of Allah.
A Bedouin asked the Prophet PBUH: What is the origin of science? The Prophet said: Do you have any acquaintance of Allah? The Prophet said: [the head of the religion is the acquaintance of Allah].
Imam Al-Ghazali said: wherever the word (Al-Elm) is mentioned; it means the acquaintance of Allah which requires high price yet it has astounding outcomes.
The outcome of applied sciences is a knowledge that is stored in the brain yet their holder (the scientist) might be stingy, hard hearted and sordid, on the other hand, the soul of he who has acquaintance of Allah will sublime.
Cogitating in regard of Allah’s divine entity is prohibited:
Striving is the price for knowing Allah and its results are outstanding, as it does not remain in the brain, but it turns into tolerance, loftiness, mercy, kindness, compassion, pity, justice, fairness, and warm-heartedness..The Prophet PBUH said when he looked at his companions describing them:
((They are so scholarly and wise that they are almost prophets))
Why glorify the Name instead of "glorify Allah"? because the Word (Allah) refers to the divine entity which is beyond comprehension whereas Allah’s glorified Names and best Attributes are comprehensible, needless to say that the universe is a manifestation of His Glorified Names (Attributes).If you want to have an idea in regard of His Knowledge or His Might, the universe will be at your disposal, and if you want to know His Mercy, creatures will be at your disposal, consider how He created the mercy in msh3er' hearts.
Go to the children hospital and observe the parents looking after their ill kids (as you might see a man, who doesn’t’ cry at all, might break into tears if he was told that his son has got meningitis), who did put the mercy in their hearts? The answer to that will be Allah the Great and Almighty.
This universe is manifestation of the Allah’s glorified Names and best attributes, therefore, Allah said: Glorify the Name, which means: reflect on His creatures not on His entity that is beyond any comprehension.
When someone reflects on Allah’s entity and is not able to comprehend, that won’t be a result of impotence in the mind rather than misusing it, same as using a scale, which capacity is to weigh only 2 Kilograms, to weigh a 30 Tons truck that will results in breaking it, not because it is not a good scale rather than it was used for other purposes than those it was make for.
“And when Musa(Moses) came at the time and place appointed by Us, and his Lord(Allah) spoke to him; he said:"O my Lord! Show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You". Allah said:"You cannot see Me, but look upon the mountain; if it stands still in it place then you shall see Me." So when hen his Lord appeared to the mountain, He made it collapse to dust, and Musa(Moses)fell down unconscious. Then when he recovered his senses he said: Glory be to You, I turn to you in repentance and I am the first of the believers".
Allah’s Names are comprehensible through universe:
If we throw a paper of a cigarette in a furnace, and say: what happened to it? The answer to that of course will be that the blaze has completely vaporized it.“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,”
For example, find the meaning of the Name: Al-Latif (The Gentle) in the clouds that are passing by, or in the milky tooth that falls easily without any pain in any kids’ mouth, unlike the permanent tooth that needs a painful sting of an anesthetic needle to pull off.You can also find that meaning in the air that is kind to us by transmitting the light, heat, coldness and sound because it is light yet it is able to carry a 350 tons’ airplane! What does this mean? This means: the air is valuable and it can carry it and you can value that air and sense it as a gentle creature by stretching your hand out of the car to feel the great resistance that pushes it backwards.
You comprehend the meaning of the name Allatif (gentle) from observing the clouds’ motion, you comprehend the name Mighty by observing the earth silent motion and stability (which if went through a black hole will compress to the size of an egg that still weighs 10 thousand trillion tons), and you comprehend the name The All-Knowing by reading about human creation and by knowing that human being has 13 million retina rodes in one millهmeter square, hence, we are able to comprehend all Allah’s glorified names by reflecting on the universe.
Allah’s Might and Gentleness are greater than we think:
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, "
The closest of Allah’s attribute to the human being is “ Ar-Rab” (the Lord), it means the All-Knower, the All-Wise rearing, the Compassionate, and who rears, owns, so He supplies humankind with food and drinks.
In last lesson, in interpreting Surah At-Tariq, Allah the Great and Almighty said:
“So let man see from what he is created! He is created from a water gushing forth, Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs.'"
This is the blessing of supply:“By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again And the earth which splits(with the growth of trees and plants).”
This is the blessing of supply. He created you from a water gushing forth, then He supplied you with food and drink by bringing down rain and growing plants.“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,”
Why " Glorify the Name of your Lord"? Because He is the Most High,the superlative (form), it means that there is no end for His Highness and His Mighty, some said: the word "Allahu-Akbar=Allah is the Most Great" ( the prayer's beginning is the ablution, and its interdict (i.e. you are prohibited from doing any thing else while you are praying) is At-Takbir that to say: Allahu Akbar and its finish is At-Taslim(to say: As-Salamu Alaikum=peace be upon you) means that Allah is greater than everything, and some said: Greater than our ability to comprehend, and no matter how much you comprehend or confine his kindness and greatness, He is still Greater than that:
”-Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,”
That means no end for His Highness and Greatness, hence, how can this Great God be renounced, or disobeyed?! Glorified be Allah!!.Allah’s will is effective over His creations unlike creatures:
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
The Creator is unlike the creature; the Creator has influential Will over His creatures, but the creature acts according to the Creator's Will. Allah created you, and if He willed, He wouldn’t have done, and He gave you the hearing and sight, and if He willed, He wouldn’t have done. He bestowed you the ability to cogitate:“And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them(into animals or lifeless objects)in their places. Then they would have been unable to go forward(move about) nor they could have turned back.”
The mind is a blessing and for example I’ve heard about a person who occupied a high position as the Minister of Justice at the time of the Ottoman Empire, yet when he was brought back to the miserable old age he was unable to find his way back home which made his wife calling for the police to find him.“And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them(into animals or lifeless objects)in their places. Then they would have been unable to go forward(move about) nor they could have turned back.”
I personally know a person who drove his car one week before his death from his factory to his home, but he wandered aimlessly for an hour and a half, till he reached his son's house to ask him: ‘where is my house son’?!
You are a subject to the Will of Allah the Great and Almighty. He gave you the mind, and if He willed, He wouldn’t have done, and He gave you the strength. Can you imagine that a tiny blood clot that is less than one cubic millimeter if clots in an artery in the brain will cause a complete paralysis, and as an example I have a relative who was paralyzed by a stroke and he stayed in his bed motionlessly and mutely, his hand was as a piece of meat on his belly.
No obedience to a creature in disobeying the Creator:
Allah said:“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
Who gave you the strength? Who gave you the sight? Who gave you the hearing? If you have buzzing in your ear, you will get annoyed and will say: I have an otitis and I should see a doctor, if you have blur in your eye, that will annoy you and you will rush to a doctor, if you have a deep cut in your hand and the interior nerves appear that will annoy you, and if you have a toothache, you will be unable to sleep all night out of pain and when the dentist plucks out your tooth you will realize that a nerve that is thinner than a string is what caused you the all night pain.“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
He is the Creator. Is there anything or anyone deserves to be worshiped with Him? [ No obedience to a creature in disobeying the Creator]When Allah said:
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Who has created (everything),and then proportioned it.”
What is the proportion? On my way to you, an example came to my mind: if a person has a car, and wants to build garage for it, if this garage is narrower than the car, he won’t be able to go in with the car, and if it is shorter than the car, the door won’t close, and if it is the exact size of the car, the door won’t open, so he must build a well-proportioned garage, this means there is a proportion.Everything in the universe is well-designed by The All-Wise:
Our Lord said:”You can see no fault in the creation of the Most Gracious.”
The distance between the sun and the earth is well measured:“The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses(exactly) calculated with measured out stages for each(for reckoning).”
If the sun slightly gets closer, the earth will burn, and if it slightly moves away, it will be frozen! The distance between the moon and earth is carefully calculated, if it approaches half its distance, the tide would increase by sixty times, which means that the height of the ebb and flow would be one hundred and twenty meters high and the water will cover all the coastal cities.The size of earth is measured by The All-Wise, All-Knower, the velocity of the earth's revolution around itself is well proportioned in accordance of the man's energy, giving mankind twelve hours of day light, and twelve hours in the night, if it revolves faster, or the moon is perished, the earth will rotate around itself once every four hours, and that will give mankind only two hours of day light and two hours in the night which will result in a terrible chaos on earth.
“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
Allah created everything around us in precise measures that is adequate to human’s capabilities, therefore everything is well-designed by the All-wise All-knower such as the earth’s orbit around the sun, the seasons, water supplies, and air’s composition.Everything in the universe is exploited to mankind:
There are mountains that reserve the fresh water without which fresh water would not have been stored, there are enough deserts to create low pressure in the air, there are level lands enough to produce food for mankind, and there are seas that are considered the largest water store.If the exterior layers of the earth were impermeable, and the interior ones were permeable, there would be no wells to be found.
“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
If you need a protein, you will find it in sheep and in chickens (We subdued them unto them), needless to say that some of the animals are exploited to mankind to be ridden:“And (He has created) horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as an adornment.”
Unlike nowadays, as there are rockets, jumbo planes and luxurious cars.”And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge.”
Who did create the petroleum/oil? Who gave it this explosive power?Who created the iron? Who created the human brain that invented the explosive engine?
“And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge."
“Who has created (everything),and then proportioned it.”
Allah the Almighty created everything and proportioned it:
Everything in the universe is perfectly created, if we take the earth as an example, its temperature is created in a suitable range and if it exceeds 100 degrees above zero or is decreased less than 200 degrees below zero, there will be no life on it, if its axis was horizontal parallel to its revolving level, it will stay put, and as a result we will have on half of it forever day light and on the other half forever night, and if the axis was vertical on its revolving level, we will not have seasons, hence, the axis is created to be slightly slant so we will have alternation of day and night:“ Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.”
And we will have alternation in seasons.“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
Wood is needed in our life and every kind of tree wood has its own use, so if we want fire fuel (firewood), or houses’ sealing we use poplar trees, if we want to make furniture we use beech trees, it we want wood for supporting concrete we use lumber trees as nails penetrate it unlike beech wood which is solid, and there are other kinds of wood such as the oak trees, apricot trees and olive trees.Allah has created (everything), and then proportioned it. if He created one kind of food for you, you will be bored, so He created many kinds of foods and fruits for you, and If He created women with the ability to bear children as long as they live that will be unacceptable (as when women gets older they won’t have the health or strength either to bear children or to raise them).
“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
The universe is a subject for reflection:
If water keeps shrinking when it is frozen, we won’t have life on earth.When water reaches the degree 4 above zero it starts to expand instead of shrinking unlike other substances on earth (which expand by heating and shrink by cooling), and this property of water keeps the oceans from freezing because when water expands after reaching 4 degrees, its density decreases and the ice layer floats as a result on the surface, and if without this property the ice layer will sink and another layer will be frozen and sink till the whole ocean is frozen and as a result there will be no water’s evaporation, no rains and no life at the end.
“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
So, there is a proportionality..“Who has created the seven heavens one above another; you can see no fault in the creation of the Most Gracious.”
Allah created plants and herbs especially for sick animals, in fact, all the universe is a subject of reflecting..“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it. And Who has measured; and then guided.”
The soil, for example, contains many materials, if we imitate it by dissolving sugar, salt, soapy substance and citric acid in water, and put capillary tubes in it imitating the sap capillaries of the tree, is it reasonable that some of these capillary tubes absorb only the salt and leave everything else?!.. impossible. Is it possible that another tube absorbs the sugar with water only? Impossible. These materials have dissolved in the water, and the tubes are irrational unlike trees sap capillaries that know exactly what to absorb and what not to absorb.Plants indicate the Greatness of Allah:
You might find many various fruit trees on the same ground, such as apples, pears, peaches, and grapes...etc, yet taste of one is different from the other, although, they are planted in the same soil and are fed by the same materials.The water in the soil dissolved these materials, so how did the apple takes the sugary taste, the peach takes the acid flavor, and the date takes the sweet taste...etc?
“And in the earth are neighbouring tracts, and gardens of vines, and green crops(fields) and date-palms, growing into two or three from a single stem root, or otherwise(one stem root for every palm), watered with the same water; yet some of them We make more excellent than sh3er to eat. Verily, in these things there are Ayat(proofs, evidences,signs.etc)for the people who understand.”
Who guided these rootlets, namely, the absorbing capillaries in the root? To choose the potassium, iron, phosphorus, and calcium, whereas the other root chooses different materials.“And Who has measured; and then guided.”
Allah put the material that is sufficient for plants to grow, and guided the roots to take their needs from these materials.But if we imitate that process it will be impossible for human being to resemble that by using same materials that is dissolved in water and expect the capillary tubes he put to be selective, it is impossible.
“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.3-And Who has measured; and then guided.”
Roots of plants deserve reflecting on:
Another example: if we take one gram of seeds there will be such seventy thousands seeds in it, and as tiny and similar as they are, yet they grow to be different kinds of roses and flowers so we have the red and the yellow and each one has its own color, shape, leaves, roots, and behavior as some need sun light while sh3er need shade, some need lot of water while sh3er are killed by excessive water, and some live indoors while sh3er live outdoors, so there are so much of properties in each seed.“And Who has measured; and then guided.”
The salmon fish is another example, as they come from the sources of rivers in America and immigrate to Atlantic to die there. How the new young fish know their way back to their birthplace; the salmon swim westward, from the Atlantic to America, some of them take the Amazon as their destination, because they were born in the sources of Amazon, sh3er aim for the Mississippi, because there were born there, who guided them?
There is a sort of fish that comes from the source of the Nile tends to its estuary, then swims westwards to the strait of Tariq Mountain(south of Spain) then it crosses La Manche (English Channel) then it proceeds to the North Sea, then it returns to the Nile' sources again. Who guided them?
“Fir'aun (Pharaoh)said: "Who then,O Musa(Moses), is the Lord of you two?".
[Musa(Moses)] said:"Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright."
Bees’ creation indicates the Greatness of Allah:
Bee is another example; who guided it to build its cell? Who taught it the hexagon, which is the geometric shape that leaves no gaps, who taught it?Who taught some of them to stand at the door as sentries for guarding, and they do not allow any bee to enter unless it says the password, and if it doesn’t it will be killed, because the bee that forgets the password will be killed! Who taught them to air the hive? The bees stands at the doors of the hive and move their wings quickly when the weather is hot in order to ventilate the cell, and when it is cold, they close the doors in order to warm the hive, who taught them that?
Who taught them that the queen bee should be fed with special food, and there are special maids for the queen? The maids bring the pollen mixed with the flowers' nectar which makes the special food for the queen, who taught them? Who inspired the bee to kill every strange insect in the cell, if there happens to be a mouse in the hive that cannot be killed nor pulled out by the bees, they cover it with waxy substance to keep it from decaying, who inspired them? Who taught the bee that when it is loaded with the nectar, it should give the other bees the load, and returns to the previous place to save the time, who taught the bee to dance? By the sort of dancing that the bee performs, the rest know the distance between the bee and the flowers, there is a special dance for 10 kilometer, another dance for anther distance, and by that, the bees know how far the flowers are even before they come out of the hive.
Who informed the queen its egg’s sex? As it stands in a place intended especially for the males and lays its egg while it stands in another place intended for females and lays its egg, this is something can’t a pregnant gynecologist know in regard of her fetus? But the queen bee knows.

Incredible facts about the creation of man, animal, and plant:
In regard of birds; if you observe the swallow in its nest in any house in Damascus, you will see that it immigrates in winter towards south (to Africa), and in spring it comes back to the same nest and the same house, who inspired it to take a specific angle to reach Damascus? If it deviates one degree from Africa, it will end up in Egypt (instead of Damascus), if deviates another degree it will end up in Baghdad, who gave it the coordinates to reach its place in Damascus? Needless to say that it is covering ten thousand kilometers back and forth, who taught it that?“And Who has measured; and then guided.”
Sometimes sick animals eat special herbs for healing. The tree consumes its own leaves as a sign that it needs water, and when it thirsts, the leaves turn into yellow, and as its leaves are not very important, it sacrifices them for its survival, then its branches wither, then its trunk, which is, in comparison with its roots, unimportant, and all these sacrifices are made to keep the root alive for its own survival, who taught it this strategy?When scientists analyzed a green leaf, they found pores on its surface, these pores stay open all winter time, and closed in the summer, why? Because there is humidity in winter, and in summer these pores come closer to each other and close, this is why the leaves keep its freshness during summer, who taught it to do that? Allah the Exalted and Glorious will be the answer to that question.
As another example: there is a membrane between the cells and the blood stream, and they resemble a street (the blood stream) with buildings on the right side and the left side (the cells) yet there is a veil that covers those building to prevent any comer from the street from entering the building, this membrane opens a hole to let the potassium, for example, into the cell when it is needed, and when the cell takes its need, the hole closes, as if there is a big mind planning to feed these cells. The blood is rich of nutrients of all kinds so that every organ takes its need, so the pancreas takes its need, the gallbladder also, the liver, the tear glands, the saliva, and every organ that the blood runs through, takes all what it needs from the blood stream.
In some places there is an alkaline secretion; in other places there are non-alkaline ones, in some there is acidity, hydrochloric acid, or mild substance. Where do these substances, that the endocrine glands secrete, take their raw substances from? The answer is from blood stream.
Who ordered the pancreas to take from blood stream such and such substance? It is He Who created then proportioned, and measured then guided, and there are astonishing facts in the creation of the man, animal and plant.
Allah the Almighty guided His creatures to seek their needs:
If we take the woodpecker as an example, it is a bird that feeds on worms and lives in the pine trees, but what is strange about this bird is that it pecks its way through the tree trunk by its 12 centimeters long beak in order to catch the worm that lives inside the trunk, so do you know of any laser rays, or infra red rays that can detect the exact place of the worm in the trunk? Who guided it to its exact place? The answer is: Allah the Exalted and Glorious..When the bees build the hexagon hive, some bees begin from one side and the sh3er begin from the other side, till they meet on regular hexagon shape, without taking any measurement beforehand, did they measure the width of the hive then they divide it evenly? Impossible; there is a bigger plan (The plan of Allah Who inspired them).
“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it. And Who has measured; and then guided.”
When man eats more than his/her need, the fat accumulates in his/her body, but when he/she wants to slim, which fat melts first? It is the last one that was accumulated in the body. Who gave these instructions? Whose plan is this? That exactly what happens in cases of famines, as body starts to consume the fat (which is considered as a nutrient store) first and when running out of it, the body starts to consume the muscles and when running out of it, the body starts to consume the bones, and the body saves the brain till the last minute of life:“He said:"My Lord! Indeed my bones have grown feeble,”
The universe is full of signs that indicate the Greatness of Allah:
When a young man once entered upon one of the Islamic Caliphs, the Umayad Caliph, looked at him in anger and said to his chamberlain: “Everyone who desires to enter upon me has an access to do so, even young children!” The young man stood up and asked permission to talk. He said: “O Commander of the Faithful! My entrance upon did not derogate from your privilege (as a Cliph), although it was a great honor to me.” Then, he went on to say: “We have been visited by three years of drought and famine. One year consumed the fat (of our bodies); the second devoured the flesh; and the third crushed the bones!”It is a scientific thinking as it was put in order, the fat, the flesh, then the bones, and finally the brain.
One of the unbelievable facts about the brain is that the cells of the brain cortex resist cancer, and there have never been a single case of brain cortex cancer spotted yet, as it is the center of judgment, memory, vision, hearing, and imagining.
So the young man said to the Caliph: We have been visited by three years of drought and famine. One year consumed the fat (of our bodies); the second devoured the flesh; and the third crushed the bones, and you have surpluses in money, so, if it is for His(Allah) slaves, why do you withhold it from us and we are His slaves? And if it is yours, so be charitable to us, truly, Allah does reward the charitable, and if it is ours, why do you hold it from us.
The Caliph said: By Allah, this boy left us with no excuse.
However,
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it. And Who has measured; and then guided.”
If you take a look at the ant's hole, you will find a very soft white substance at the entrance of it, and when you analyze it, you will find out that it is a mass of the wheat embryo roots, and the ants know that these roots holds life within which by little water, wheat will grow, which will cause damage to the ant’s hole and this is why they keep this substance away, who guided the ant to this fact about plant? If ants take lentil, which in some seeds has two embryo roots, they cut them off both, in order to make sure that they won’t grow in the hole.If you observe the butterflies, you will see one enters and after a while another one enters, the first butterfly is the female, and the latter is her male who comes to look after it, who guided it for that?
All the universe is full of signs (proofs, miracles, etc..)
The proportion in Allah’s creations:
Allah the Great and Almighty said:“And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty.”
How many signs they are in the universe? How then are you turned away? How then are you deceived? Will you not then see? Will you not then remember? Have you then no sense? Little thanks you give. When human disobeys Allah, then he is an ignorant in an ugly way.“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it. And Who has measured; and then guided.”
"Created then proportioned " means: the proportionality means a lot, such like proportionality between the man and his environment as the suitable temperature for him is between 35 and 40 or even 50 degrees but not 80 or 100 below zero, not to mention that there is the air, the water, the food, the drink, the minerals, the wood, the fire, the iron, the fuel…“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
The egg, for example, you can obtain an egg every day, but if it were every month, then its price will jump to (25) Syrian pounds, if the apple tree bears only five apples in the season, a kilo of apple would be two hundred pounds, therefore, there is proportion in quantity, size, and taste.If the apple were a bitter fruit then who would eat it? Or if it is of good taste but without any nutritional values, or if it contains all the desirable/wanted qualities but is hard like a rock, then a grinder would be needed to help you eating it. So, there is a taste, smell, shape, suppleness, beauty, color, and flavor..
“Who has created(everything),and then proportioned it.”
Needless to say that It is easy to be picked, not that its tree is very tall to get.Exalting and Sanctification need knowledge that is the head of religion:
Allah created the proportioned the whole universe and He measured and guided all His creatures.He guided the roots and the cells, the same way as He guided the eye as it needs an alkaline substance that can be obtained from blood, who informed it that this substance is good for tear? Allah the Exalted and Glorious..
What is incredible is that all the cells are nourished by the arteries and veins except one place in the body that is the cornea, because it is transparent.
If Allah created a net of arteries in the cornea, then as if we will be looking through sieve, but it is nourished in a special way, which is osmosis, as the first cell takes its need and sh3er need for nutrition, then the nutrients are carried from one cell to another through the cell's membrane in order to keep the eye's transparency. Who put an anti-freeze substance in the eye? Allah the Great and Almighty, your reflecting is what prove these verses to you:
“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,”
Comprehend His Names not his entity!, and the meaning of "Glorify": Exalt Him highly above and extol Him, the exalting and extolling require knowledge that is the head of the religion and the ultimate purpose of this life.“Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,”
No end for His Sublimity, His Perfection, His Mercy, His Power, He is the Most High, or “are you one of the high exalted”? Through Allah described some creatures that they are of the high exalted, but Allah is the Most High, and it is he who creates, it is His Will, and you have no will over the creations. If Allah had not created you, who are you then? Nothing!“Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was not a thing worth mentioning?”
