Interpretation of the Quran- Surat Al- Baqarah (2) - Lesson (4)- Verses (3-5): The Witnessed World, and the Unseen World
   
 
 
In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful  
 

The witnessed world :

Dear brother, we continue with the fourth lesson of the interpretation of “Surat Al-Baqarah”, and with the third verse.
One of the greatest qualities of those who fears Allah, Almighty, is that they believe in the unseen, what is the unseen?
There's a world of views, and a world of the unseen; the world of views is what you see, what you hear, what you smell, and what you feel; what you hear, what you see, what you smell, what you taste, or what you feel; the information that come to us by the five senses; The world of views; this light is shining, this fan is spinning, and that sound is saying “Allah is the Greatest” we know it by our ears.

Dear brother, therefore, they have said: “There is no where with the noticeable”, and it means: if the object is noticeable, then we don’t need to a proof; all the human beings are agreed about the noticeables, hence, the material sciences are generally accepted in all the continents; Physics, Chemistry, the science of Light, the Mechanics, the science of Temperature, and the science of Fossils.
All the scientists of the earth are agreed about the Material sciences, because the sense is unquestionable; this is the world of the views, the object which you recognize by your hearing, you hear its voice, you see with your eyes, you touch with your hand, you smell with your nose, or taste with your tongue, that is the world of views.
You may misconceive that the senses are only five, but the truth is that the senses are more than five; for instance, if you have two closed containers, one is full and the other is empty, can you know which is the full and which is the empty by your ear? Or your eyes? Or even if you put your hand on the container? or by your hands? by your nose? or by your tongue? You can not. But if you have carried the containers , you would find that one is light, an the other is heavy, this is the sense of realization the weight.
If you have put a vessel under an opened tap, whenever the water increased in the vessel, you feel that your hand resists more, the weight increases, and you feel through your muscles that the weight increases, this is a sense as well.

You are given two pieces of cloth from one level of the form and the color, whichever is thinner? by two of your fingers you know the thickness of the object, this is also a sense.
You sleep on the bed for a long time, the muscles with the skeleton depress on the muscles that are under the skeleton, and there are centers of pressure in the muscles predict the brain that the pressure has intensified, and the blood vessels are narrowed, and the ischemic is weakened, and there was a sense of numb, then this information goes to the brain which gives a command that the sleeping person tumbles about thirty-eight times of left and right.
So, the perception of the pressure is a cognitive power in the humans; the perception of weight is a cognitive power, and the perception of thickness is a cognitive power; moreover, the hearing, the sight, the smell, the taste, and the touch; we are familiar with those five senses, but there are too many cognitive forces in human.

Equivalence of human and non-human in the seen world:

How does a person feel that he is hungry? Is it an acoustical pointer ? No, he feels hungry while he is silent.
Is it a chemical pointer? We do not know.
Is it a luminous pointer? We do not know.
Is it a nervous pointer? We do not know. All what we know is that we're hungry, and we want to eat, this is also a recognition; also, sometimes the human feels thirsty.
Then, the sense of hunger, the sense of thirst, the estimate of the thickness of the things, and the estimate of the weight of the things, and all the perceptions belong to the world of the views.

Brother, these are the five senses, and there are many other senses, and this belongs to guidance of interest; Allah has guided us to our interests, the human stabilizes; for instance if the cyclist has leaned for two grades, then he would realize and correct his path; but for the body balance, we would never been able to bike a bicycle, or even to walk on two legs at all; look at the models in the stores of selling clothing, and you’ll find them are based on a very large seat.
No dead can stand on his feet, who can make the dead stand? He will fall down because the body balance is disrupted; while the human walks by the use of his nice legs, he moves because he is balanced, the balance is a sense, and if the balance has disturbed !...
Sometimes, if the human has eaten a decadent food, he would vomit immediately, he has realized that the food is bad, then the vomiting has occurred.
The base of the vomiting is a recognition, the base of the balance is a recognition, the base of the hunger is a recognition, the base of the thirst is a recognition, the base of to know the weight of things is a recognition, and to know its thickness is a recognition.
Many things can be known by the recognition; so, this is the world of views, that all the people are equivalent in it, and also humans and non-humans.

The world of the unseen:

What is the world of the unseen? The unseen is everything that missed of our senses and realizations; the animal believes by its senses, but the human is venerated by, and Allah has given him a cognitive power that is more than the five senses and the sensory recognitions; Allah has given the human a mind, and by the mind you believe in the unseen, the thing which is missed, you can realize it by your mind.
While you are walking in an earthy road, you find the impacts of two wheels, then you say: A car has passed from here; and perhaps it is small because the distance between the wheels is little, perhaps it is a big car, or a large truck, you did not see the car, but you saw its effects, and through your mind you have realized that a car passed; the dung indicates to the camels, and the water indicates to the Bourne; so, a sky of towers, and a land of a far places, do not indicate to Allah, The All Wise, The Aware?

The sensory perceptions make human face the world of views:

The base of the world of views is the five senses and all the tools of the sensory perceptions; the weight, the thickness, the feeling of hungry, the feeling of thirst, the sense of balance, the sense of the corruption of food, and the sense of compression.
Sometimes, the saliva increases in your mouth while you are sleeping, while you're going deeply in the sleep, and while you are dreaming; a signal goes from the mouth to the brain, that the saliva has increased of the normal level, then the brain gives the order to the epiglottis to close the air inlet tightly, and opens the esophagus widely, that the man swallows his saliva while he is sleeping, otherwise he would find the saliva on the pillow, and while you are sleeping there is a very complex process of the epiglottis; and other operations occurred as the tumbling to the right and left.
So, the sensory perceptions, the sensual tools of the realization, and the five senses, those are your gadget to the world of views, and those are the great blessing of Allah, it is a guidance, but a guidance of interest.
You know what happens around you by the senses; you say: There is an unpleasant smell in the house, the smell is one of the ways for recognizing things, the function of your eye, when you frivol, ends with the wall, while your ear extends beyond the wall; that you say: There is a movement in the house, who has entered the house? Who has opened the door?
As you are sitting in your room your eyes do not reveal what your ear has revealed; But if an insect has died, or a mouse died under your bed, you will not hear its voice, and you will not see its body, but you will smell its odor after a while, you say: There is an unpleasant smell; even the gas which we use, the unpleasant smell which is put to the gas has been added intentionally, the gas has no smell, the smell of the gas was added in order to feel if any ooze has occurred or the house may burns.
These sensory perceptions make you face to face with the world of the views, but you are a venerated creature that you have been supplied with a mind that realizes of what you missed.

The viewed unseen has effects, and it can be recognized by mind:

Now, Allah, Almighty, can not be recognized by the eyes, Allah, Glory be to Him, is unseen in respect of you, but the whole universe is from the effects of Allah, and if you cogitate your mind, you’ll recognize to Allah, Almighty, by this creatures, this is the world of the unseen.
The world of the unseen is something that absent of you, but it has effects, then you senses, and tools for understanding these effects; and these senses, and understanding tools transport the data of the effects to the brain, and the brain rules about what has absented from you.
The first characteristic of the believer is that he believed in the unseen, he believes in Allah, and he does not see Him, he believes in the greatness of Allah through the greatness of His creation, he believes in the propulsion of Allah through the propulsion which he sees, he believes in The Impeller through the propulsion, he believes in “The All- Wise” through the wisdom, he believes in “The Arranger” through the regulation, he believes in “The Creator” through the creatures, and he believes in “The Inventive” through His perfection.
The biggest issue in the life of the believer is that Allah has given him a mind, and all the universe is an effect of Allah, Almighty; so, if you point your mind to these effects, it will lead you to “The Influential”.

It is a very simple issue, you are in front of a wall, and there is a smoke behind the wall; then the principle says: "No smoke without a fire", and if you go to the other side of the wall, you see the fire with your eyes, "There is no where with the perceptible", we do not need for an evidence; but if you have moved away of the wall and saw the smoke; now, by the effect of the fire, your mind rules that there is a fire; you say: “No smoke without a fire”, it means that as long as there is a smoke, then there is a fire, even though you do not see the fire; this is a kind of the unseen.
It is an unseen which has effects, something missed you but it has effects, and the means to recognize it is the mind; then we can call this unseen: “The viewed unseen”.
The viewed unseen is the unseen which has effects in the world of the views.

Allah makes a proof in everything He has created

That He, Almighty, is “The Only One”

Everything in the universe indicate to the presence of Allah, the One:

Everything in the universe indicate to the presence of Allah, everything in the universe indicate to the Onenessof Allah, everything in the universe indicate to the perfection of Allah, everything in the universe indicate to the mercy of Allah, indicate to the kindness of Allah, indicate to the strength of Allah, and indicate to the knowledge of Allah; everything in the universe indicate to The Beautiful Names of Allah; therefore, the short stark obvious way is to recognize to Allah through His creatures…

﴾ Indeed, the creation of the Heavens and the Earth, and the variation in duration and the constant alternation and succession symbolic of the night and the day are signs with prodigies emblematic of Omnipotence and Authority sensed by those who reflect (190) They think of Allah with reverent feeling, standing, sitting and lying on their sides and ponder and meditate the infinite creation of the Heavens and the Earth. They interpret their thoughts in words of an invocatory prayer: «O Allah, our Creator, the One and only Ilah they say, You did not bring all this into being and caused it to exist to no effect or purpose. Glory be to You and extolled are Your glorious attributes. We beseech You to ensure us immunity from the torment of the Fire» (191) ﴿

We still in the world of the views, you feel that you have to sleep, this is a sense, someone says: “I’m drowsing, and I can’t continue”, then what did make him feels sleepiness ? It is the fatigue of the nervous system, how does this system transport to you that it has felt tired, and you have to sleep? It is a recognition; now you have slept for about eight hours, then you woke up, what is the matter that has made you feel that you had an enough rest? The waking up is also a recognition; the examples are various and precise.
The world of views, the noticeable world; like a voice, a form, a smell, a taste, a touch, the weight of things, the thickness, the sense of balance, the sense of hunger, the sense of thirst, the sense that we have to sleep, the sense that we have to wake up, the sense that we have to tumble in the bed, and the sense that we have to swallow the saliva in our mouth; and many endless senses which are no one knows them but Allah.

Types of the unseen:

Now we move to the world of the unseen, that what is missed from us, and what is absent of the five senses and the sensory realizations, that is the world of the unseen; and the greatest unseen who you have to believe in is Allah, Almighty, His Selfsame is absent of you, but you see His effects, and the tool to recognize Allah is the mind; therefore, there are the mentality knowledge, and the sensory knowledge.
But there is something which is absent of you and it has no effects; it is “The angels”; who they are absent of us and they have no effects;“The Jinn” are absent creatures, and they have no effects, also the Hereafter is absent of us, and it has no effects; this is a third knowledge.

So, the first unseen is an unseen which has effects, and its tool is the mind.
The second unseen is the informing unseen, and it has no effects too, and its tool is only the information, and the base of the information is to be honest, that if the information is honest, then it is a third type of knowledge.
You may see, or you may deduce by your mind, or you may listen by your ear; then Allah, Almighty, has told us that there are the angels, and that is a third type, He has told us that there is a world of Jinn, He has told us that there is a Hereafter which has the extreme fire of the hell, and the heaven which its width is the earth and the skies.
All of these unseens are without effects, and the unseen which is your mind can not reach it, Allah has told us about.
So, the third unseen is an informing unseen, the second one is an inferential unseen, and there is an unseen that Allah has appropriated for Himself, and no one knows it but Allah, Almighty.

﴾ «He -Allah- alone knows the unknown and realizes the unseen and He keeps what is beyond human comprehension and imparts the knowledge thereof to no one» (26) « Except to a Messenger whom He chooses … (27) ﴿

[Al-Jinn]

So, if The Prophet (PBUH) has told us something that would happen in the future, then it is the informing of Allah to Him, not by His own knowledge.

Allah has left marks for human about everything:

Dear brother… (Who are strongly disposed to realise the unseen) means something is absent of you, but you know its effects.
For instance, you have a disrupted electric machine, you may ask whether the electric current is disrupted? To know, you fetch another machine, and put its wire in the same outlet; now if this machine has worked, then the outlet is working, and you limit the foul-up. May this iron is not working because of its wire? to know you fetch a new wire and put it, then it works, and you conclude that the wire is foul-up.
Originally, this is the mental act, the civilization as a whole depends on the intelligence, that is something can not be seen by the human, but he can see its effects; for example, the doctor can not see the bacteria, the patient says to him: “I have a high fever, vomiting, and diarrhea”, then the doctor says to you: “You have a specific kind of the bacteria in the intestine”.
Allah, The Greatest, says:

﴾ And other visible signs … (16) ﴿

[Al-Nahl]

It is of the mercy of Allah with us, that He has left marks, He, Almighty, has given us marks, marks for plants, marks for diseases, and marks for bacteria; Allah has given us marks for everything…

﴾ And other visible signs together with signs in the heavens -the stars- serving as guide-posts to guide people on land and at sea (16) ﴿

[Al-Nahl]

For example, we heard in the news about a hot wave will come after two days, is this an unseen? It is not an unseen, but it is a reality, then it is an unseen here and a reality in European countries, because the wind has speed, so the wave will be received after two days, and that is not the unseen which Allah, almighty, has appropriated; Allah, Almighty, has allowed that to know this unseen, as to know the speed of the wind, or by the wireless contacts via satellite you can know what will be after two days, and that is not the unseen which Allah, almighty, has appropriated, this is the knowledge of the unseen which Allah has allowed with.
Sometimes, in a mathematical question, you take some data in order to find the unknown, then the unknown is not an unseen; but it is the unseen which Allah has allowed to know it through the data or the postulates.
For example, sometimes, a house is stolen, and there are people who deal with the jinn, so the genie reveals to its human customer where are the stolen goods; this is of the unseen knowledge which Allah has allowed.

Mind can know Allah through the system of causality, teleology, and non-contradiction:

We should know that there is a world of views, which is the sensible and the material reality; and the world of views has tools to know it, there are our five senses, also we have tens of the cognitive and the sensory tools in the body.
But what is absent of us is the world of the unseen, and the most important thing in the world of the unseen is Allah, Glory be to Him, Who is no sight can recognize Him, and He can recognize all the sights.
As long as the universe is one of the effects of Allah, Almighty, as long as the universe is an aspect of Allah’s Beautiful Names, and as long as the universe is embodiment of His Beautiful Names, then the universe is from the effects of Allah, Almighty; also there is a mind, and the mind, through the system of causality, teleology and non-contradiction , can recognize Allah, Almighty.
But to say: There is a heaven and a fire, then they can not be recognized by the inference, also there are angels and jinn, and those can not be recognized by the inference; there is a path, a laver, a preserved tablet, and that the origin of the human beings is “Adam and Eve”, all of those are of the unseen world which has no effects that our mind can recognize, those are of the unseen world which has no effects, its tool is only the informing, and the informing must be honest even to be true.
So, if Allah, Almighty, has told something, then it is true as if you see it.

﴾ Did you not see into or ponder O Muhammad how Allah your Creator, dealt with the expedition which included the elephant in their train? (1) ﴿

[Al-Feel]

Who did see this happening? Although Allah addresses us, the meaning of this verse is that if Allah has told you about something, then you should believe in it, as if you are seeing it…

﴾ Who are strongly disposed to realise the unseen… (3) ﴿

[Al-Baqarah]

We believe in Allah, there is an unseen that Allah has appropriated with it, no one of His creatures knows it, and there is an unseen that Allah has appropriated with it, but He has allowed to some of His Prophets to know it, then all the happenings of the world’s end, and the coming of the Prophet “Jesus”, all of them are the unseen which Allah has allowed to His Prophet (PBUH) to know it.

﴾ «He -Allah- alone knows the unknown and realizes the unseen and He keeps what is beyond human comprehension and imparts the knowledge thereof to no one» (26) « Except to a Messenger whom He chooses … (27) ﴿

[Al-Jinn]

As for the unseen which Allah has told us about it; the faith in the angels, the faith in the jinn, the faith in the paradise, the faith in the hell, the faith in the Straight Path, the faith in the Laver, and the faith in the Preserved Tablet; all of them are of the unseen which is absent of us, it has no effects, but Allah has told us about it.

 

One should know the identity of any issue offered to him:

Dear brother, now the very precise thing is to know the identity of any issue that is offered to you, this is a sensory issue and its reference is the scientists; Someone may comes and says: “O Professor, do I have a surgery?”
Then I say to him: “What was your doctor’ opinion?”
This is a scientific issue and it needs to a deftly devout Muslim doctor; so, the opinion of the skilful pious Muslim doctor is the conclusive say, and the umpire; that it is a sensory issue, it is measured by measurements; there is a thermometer, there is a balance of pressure, there is an Echo for the heart, there is a MRI devise, there are instruments, and there are analysis; the sensory things have a sensory measures. Allah, The Greatest, says:

﴾ …you -infidels- may ask those who are well versed in the antecedent Scriptures -Jews and Christians- if indeed you do not know! (7) ﴿

[Al-Anbiyaa]

If the unseen objects have effects, then the mind is the only tool to recognize, and we call them “The inferential unseen”; while if the unseen objects have no effects, and Allah has allowed to us to know them, then the informing is the tool; so we have a sensory certainty, a mental certainty, and an honest news about them; also there is an unseen that Allah has appropriated for Himself.
You should know the identity of any religious issue; it is of the noticeable kind, the reasonable kind, or the informative kind.

We should keep away from informative issues during dialogue with the other:

The biggest deterrent that affects some of the Muslims during the dialogue with non-Muslims is when they have an informative issue, then they make it a mental issue; for instance, someone says: “Prove to me that there are Jinn!”.
“I swear by Allah that I haven’t any evidence”; once a time he says: “Prove to me that there is hell!”.
He answer him: “ Be patient please! We haven’t the evidence now, because this is an informative issue, not sensory issue or mental issue; then after you have believed in Allah, you have believed His Words, and you have believed that His Word is right, then Allah has told you that there is the afterlife, there is a fire, and there is a paradise”.
Be careful not to fault!, the tool of the sensory issues are the senses, the tool of the unseen issues which have effects is the mind, and the tool of the unseen issues which have no effects is the informing.
The more greatest informing is the Holy Quran, and it has said to you: That the mankind started from Adam and Eve, so you have to kick with your foot all the scientific theories which their basis is that the origin of the human is a monkey; kick these theories with your foot, because the greatest news for us is the Word of Allah, and the issue of “starting of the creating” is an unseen which has no effects, the only way for it is the informing; and our Prophet (PBUH), who is the most honest person, had told us that the human beings began from Adam and Eve, and that's it.

Methodology of research in Islam :

So, if I have the informative issues, then I should only interest in the trueness of the news, in the mental issues I have to interest in the correctness of deduction, and in the sensory issues I should interest in the accuracy of the senses; so, the research methodology in Islam are the accuracy of senses, the correctness of deduction, and the trueness of news.
The instrument of the sensory knowledge is the accuracy of senses; for example, a person infected by color blindness, then his sensory tool has a trouble; another person has a weakness in the smell; another one has a weakness in the cells of taste, that he does not taste; therefore, the tool of the sensory knowledge is the accuracy of senses.
The base of the mental knowledge is the correctness deduction; we taught in the high school that everyone will perish, Socrates is a human, so Socrates will perish; this is a mental inference.
The tool of the unseen issues that never have effects is the trueness of the informing, and the greatest news is the Word of Allah, then the frequent “Hadith”, then the Right Hadith, then the Good Hadith .. to this point and enough .. because the Weak Hadith is problematic.

The value of the believing in the unseen:

Now:

﴾ Who are strongly disposed to realise the unseen…(3) ﴿

Good, what is the value of the believing in the unseen? You have believed that this universe has a Creator, you have believed that this universe has an Impeller, you have believed that this universe has a Teacher, and you have believed that this Creator is great, what is the value of this faith if you have never been connected with Him?; If I am very thirsty, and I have known that there is a cold fresh water, then the water would not benefit me if I do not move to get it; and so on, the theoretical belief is definitely worthless, the knowledge must be implemented, but if not, then the ignorance is better.

To pray after believing in the unseen:

Therefore, after the believing in the unseen:

﴾Who are strongly disposed to realise the unseen, especially Allah, Who is exposed only to mental view, perceived only by the mind, Who recognize His spiritual beings, His attendants and His messengers, and they sense with prudence the Hereafter, Who duly engage in worship … (3) ﴿

((No welfare in a religion without a prayer ))

[The attribution of Ahmad from Othman Bin Abu Al-A’ass]

(( The prayer is the mainstay of the religion, and who has performed it, is like if he has performed the religion; and who has left it is like if he has demolished the religion ))

[Narrated by Al-Baihaqi in The Faith Defile from Omar]

The prayer is the top of the pieties, and the ascent of the believer to the Lord of the earth and the heavens; the prayer is the religious duty which is never abolish, the saying of “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah” is done once, the pilgrimage is abolished of the poor man and the patient, the fasting is abolished of the passenger and the patient, and the charity is abolished of the poor man, the only frequent duty which is never abolishing is the prayer, it can be performed standing, sitting, lying, or by the gesticulation, the prayer has been performed by the moving of the eyelashes; it is the religion duty which is never abolished…because if you abolished the prayer, then you have abolished the religion: the prayer is the line between the Muslim person and the infidelity, so who has left the prayer, then he disbelieved…

﴾Who are strongly disposed to realise the unseen, especially Allah, Who is exposed only to mental view, perceived only by the mind, Who recognize His spiritual beings, His attendants and His messengers, and they sense with prudence the Hereafter, Who duly engage in worship … (3) ﴿

You are in dire need of money, and you have been told that there is a great man, and he likes to give you, what does prevent you from reaching him? What does restrain you of him? If you have Realized that he would give you money and he would like to give you, and you are in need for him; so if you have been told about him, then you should go.

﴾ Say to them O Muhammad: «I am only a mortal like you, but I am prompted by Allah to impart to you the knowledge inspired to me. It emphasizes that your Allah is One and only, the Creator of the whole and of all in all». «Therefore, he who acknowledges Resurrection and Judgment and hopes to be welcomed in Allah's heavenly realm and be a recipient of His mercy and blessings will have to imprint his deeds with wisdom and piety…» (110) ﴿

[Al-Kahf]

And the price of this prayer is:

﴾…and spend in benevolence and benefaction of the provisions of life We provisioned them (3) ﴿

That is all the religion.

Religion is based on believing in Allah, performing the prayer, and the expenditure:

All the religion is in these three words:

﴾ Who are strongly disposed to realise the unseen, especially Allah, Who is exposed only to mental view, perceived only by the mind, Who recognize His spiritual beings, His attendants and His messengers, and they sense with prudence the Hereafter, Who duly engage in worship and spend in benevolence and benefaction of the provisions of life We provisioned them (3) ﴿

The wider verse is about the expenditure; if Allah has bestowed you a glory, then spend this glory and defend weak people; if Allah has bestowed you a knowledge, then spend this knowledge and learn ignorant people; if Allah has bestowed you money, then spend this money in aiding poor people; if Allah has bestowed you the wisdom, then reconcile between two disputing persons; and if Allah has bestowed you a strong muscles, then use them in helping weak people…

﴾…and spend in benevolence and benefaction of the provisions of life We provisioned them (3) ﴿

A brother says to you: “I am excellent in the tile-laying career, and ready to contribute in any mosque”; this man has performed his responsibility, “You’ll not contain people with your money, hence, you have to contain them with your morals”.
“I’m a doctor, and I can remedy the poor people”, may Allah blesses you; “I’m an analyzer, and I can do analyses for poor people.

﴾…and spend in benevolence and benefaction of the provisions of life We provisioned them (3) ﴿

“I’m a lawyer, then if there is a needy person and has a problematic lawsuit, then I’m going to plead for him without having money”… The doctor offers by his specialization, the engineer offers by his specialization, the salesman offers by his specialization, the rich man offers by his specialization, and the scholar offers by his specialization.

﴾…and spend in benevolence and benefaction of the provisions of life We provisioned them (3) ﴿

For example, the needy person is specialist in soundless-heating systems under the ground, and the mosque is in need for a quiet heating, then he has to offer his knowledge in this field, the gate of expenditure is opened widely…

﴾ …and spend in benevolence and benefaction of the provisions of life We provisioned them (3) ﴿

The righteous deed is the way to connect with Allah:

Dear brother, this is an amazing verse; since you have believed in the unseen, you certainly must connect with Allah, The Almighty, and the way is the righteous deed, the verse is precise…

﴾«Therefore, he who acknowledges Resurrection and Judgment and hopes to be welcomed in Allah's heavenly realm and be a recipient of His mercy and blessings will have to imprint his deeds with wisdom and piety…» (110) ﴿

[Al-Kahf]

This religion is very simple, but we made it complex, we have put difficulties and blockades in front of the religion; believe in Allah through His creatures, as you have a mind, and a miraculous universe is before you, then if you have thought for a little, you would know that this universe has a Creator.

One of the necessities of the faith in Allah:

Dear brother, now there is an amazing scientific achievements, what is happening anywhere in the world all the people in the five continents can see it; is the transmission of video via satellite an easy thing?, the Colorful, and now the three-dimensional?
The message transfer by a device, Once you put the message in this device it appears in the far countries of the worldly life .. by the Fax .. Is this a little thing?
Is the cell phone a little thing? Is the intranet a little thing? If the human has thought in the universe as one out of a billion of the hard working of what he has been achieved, then he would know Allah.
You believed in the unseen, and you have performed the prayer, then the price of this prayer is the expenditure; Allah has said “Spend and I’ll spend for you”; who are the devout people? Those who are fearing of the risk ..

﴾ Who are strongly disposed to realise the unseen, especially Allah, Who is exposed only to mental view, perceived only by the mind, Who recognize His spiritual beings, His attendants and His messengers, and they sense with prudence the Hereafter, Who duly engage in worship and spend in benevolence and benefaction of the provisions of life We provisioned them (3) ﴿

Allah, Almighty, is the Creator of the universe, and all the creatures are His household since he has created them, and till the coming of the hereafter; so it is meaningless to believe that Allah has sent a Prophet only for us… Allah has said no:

﴾ Who faithfully believe in all that has been revealed to you, O Muhammad, -the Quran- way of life, religious and spiritual virtues and all that has been enjoined, crediting all revelations to those sent before you in AL-Taw rah (the Torah) and AL-Injil (the Bible) and the like, affirming the certainty of the Hereafter (4) ﴿

We believe in all the Prophets, we believe in all the Heavenly Books, and we believe that Allah does not let His creatures without Messengers and Prophets…

﴾ … and to every nation did Allah send a Messenger with the truth that guides into all truth (7) ﴿

[Al-R’ad]

﴾ Before you O Muhammad We sent Messengers to their people, some of whom We mentioned and narrated to you their stories and some we did not relate to you their account … (78) ﴿

[Ghaffer]

One of the necessities of the faith in Allah, the faith in His Book, and the faith in His Prophet is to believe that the messages of Allah, Almighty, is uninterrupted; and round the eras there are messages, there are Prophets, and there is a guidance; because Allah, Almighty, has said:

﴾ It is We who indicate to the people what is right and what is wrong (12) ﴿

[Al-Layl]

What is the religion that Allah recommends?:

﴾The religion, the system of faith and worship, commended by Allah is Islam…(19) ﴿

[Al Imran]

If you have pursued the Quranic verses, a prophet by a prophet, you would find that Allah describes each prophet that he is a Muslim; then Islam with its wide meaning is the submission to Allah, and with more precisely, Islam is the last message that has revealed upon the Messenger of Allah (PBUH); so Islam with its wide meaning is the submission to Allah; even when “Pharaoh” was practically drowning, he said:

﴾ … and I submit to join those who have conformed to Islam (90) ﴿

[Yunus]

It means that I submitted to the revelation that “Mussa” has brought, but too late, he said:

﴾ «Now», said Allah that you are besieged by horror and caught in the jaws of death, you are willing to submit when as yet you have withheld obedience and refused to conform to My will and you were a byword for wickedness arid infirmity of purpose.» (91) ﴿

[Yunus]

Problems suffered by Muslims today are a result of their weak belief in the Last Day:

﴾ Who faithfully believe in all that has been revealed to you, O Muhammad, -the Quran- way of life, religious and spiritual virtues and all that has been enjoined, crediting all revelations to those sent before you in AL-Taw rah (the Torah) and AL-Injil (the Bible) and the like, affirming the certainty of the Hereafter (4) ﴿

[Al-Baqarah]

Dear brother, I swear by Allah that I have a lot of meanings about this word, all the problems that we suffer are a result of the weakness of our faith in the Last Day; if you have believed that you will be held accountable accurately:

﴾ But by Allah, your Creator, there shall come the Day when all of them shall have much to answer for (92)And all their misdeeds shall be laid to their charge (93) ﴿

[Al-Hijr]

﴾ Then he who has done an atom’s weight of good, will see it and profit by it (7) And he who has done an atom’s weight of evil, will see it and be punished for it (8) ﴿

[Al-Zilzal]

You can not take what is not yours, you can not infringe on the right of any one, and you can not encroach upon any person, or to extort a person's property, or to trick a human being; all what you see of the sins that people do are the result of the weakness of their faith in the Last Day; and one of the second largest pillar in the religion is the faith in the Last Day.

Faith in Allah and the Last Day keeps man away of the disobeying Allah:

Now, a strong societies are violated, the sanctity of the people are violated, their resources are exploited, and their freedoms are infringed on; what do the strong people fancy? That they are smart, they have the science, the lethal weapons, the media, and the banks, they are stupid according to the Last Day, and they will be difficulty held accountable ..

﴾ Do not think O Muhammad that Allah is oblivious of the doings of the wrongful of actions. He only postpones their condemnation to punishment to a Day when they stand gazing fixedly with the eyes wide open in horror (42) ﴿

[Ibrahim]

Just to believe in the Last Day, and to believe that on this day any big or small sin will not be left, but Allah, Almighty, will know all of them ..

﴾ Now the Book of personal records is laid open to view and you shall see the sinful alarmed at its contents and exauthord with sudden fear and apprehension of danger. They express their thoughts in words, thus: «Woe betide us. This book», they say, «does not leave out a minor or a major offense unrecorded», and they shall find that every single deed, good or back is being presented and then they shall realize that Allah, your Creator, wrongs no one (49) ﴿

[Al-Kahf]

Just to believe in the Last Day, and to believe that Allah will ask creatures about the word, and the glance, then it is of the seventh impossible that to disobey Allah ..

The wise is he who has believed in Allah, and worked for the Last Day:

﴾ Who faithfully believe in all that has been revealed to you, O Muhammad, -the Quran- way of life, religious and spiritual virtues and all that has been enjoined, crediting all revelations to those sent before you in AL-Taw rah (the Torah) and AL-Injil (the Bible) and the like, affirming the certainty of the Hereafter (4) Their hearts have been touched with the divine hand, they have Providence as their guide, and it is they who will prosper (5) ﴿

This guidance has raised them, and the word

﴾ On ﴿

is used for the altitude, as the guidance has raised them to top of the highs, the guidance has increased their standing, the guidance has raised their prestige, and the guidance has increased their shares…

﴾ And did We not praise your name to fame (that you are being mentioned by sh3er with admiration, adoration and commendation?) (4) ﴿

[Al-Sharh]

﴾ Their hearts have been touched with the divine hand, they have Providence as their guide, and it is they who will prosper (5) ﴿

They are the smarts, the superiors, the wises, the successful people, and the winners.

Following the approach of Allah is the base for protection in this life and the Last Day:

Dear brother, this section of “Surat Al-Baqarah” is describing the believers, because you are a being that has been deposited the desires in, these desires which are the reason of your move need to an approach, and a guidance from Allah; as it is a great danger when you rush to your desires without any approach; then how can you be protected against this danger?

﴾ This Book -the Quran- in which Providence is the Guide, occasions, no doubt and represents the spirit of truth guiding into all truth; it guides those: who entertain the profound reverence dutiful to Allah (2) ﴿

The human who wants to be protected against the dangers of the worldly life and the Last Day, who wants to be protected against the disasters of life, and who wants to be protected against the fire of hell; then he has to follow this approach…

﴾ This Book -the Quran (2) ﴿

Is coming from Allah…

﴾ , no doubt and represents the spirit of truth guiding into all truth; it guides those: who entertain the profound reverence dutiful to Allah (2) ﴿

The characteristics of the devouting people:

Here are the first characteristic of the devouting people: they believe in the unseen which has effects through the minds, they believe in the unseen which has no effects but only through the informing, and they believe in the unseen which Allah has appropriated to Himself that no one knows it, but Him.
The believing in the unseen! .. and the greatest thing in this unseen is Allah, Glory be to Him; after that you have believed in Allah, you must be connected with Him.. Otherwise, your faith is meaningless.
If we assume that a person infected with a skin disease, and the only treatment is the exposure to the sun, but he remained seated in a dark room, where the humidity and putridity are high; then he said: "I believe in the sun, the sun is bright, the sun is shining and the sun is remedial .. then what does this mean?
Get out of here, as long as there is no movement, then all of this talk is (nonsense), if you do not go out to the sun in order to cure this disease, then such words are (blank) ..

﴾ Who are strongly disposed to realise the unseen, especially Allah, Who is exposed only to mental view, perceived only by the mind, Who recognize His spiritual beings, His attendants and His messengers, and they sense with prudence the Hereafter, Who duly engage in worship… (3) ﴿

Once in an evening, I met someone who has a Doctor of Science and a Doctor of Literature, also he has writings, intelligent and fluent tongue, and tactful teller; really, I have admired him, but at the end of the evening he said to me: “But I do not pray”; Glory to Allah, I despised him! All this knowledge, and all this recognition, and you do not pray?!
How? What is the price? What is the way? Why? ..

﴾ …and some we did not relate to you their account.. (78) ﴿

[Gaffer]

﴾ …and spend in benevolence and benefaction of the provisions of life We provisioned them (3) ﴿

You believe in Allah, then you spend, and then you pray; that is the religion as a whole.

Belief in Allah would raise man, promote, and preserve him:

The religion that you believe in is not a loop in the vacuum, but it is a loop in a series; Allah, Almighty, has sent The Prophet “Jesus”, The Prophet “Mussa”, The Prophet “Ibrahim”, and The Prophet “Noah”.

﴾ …some of whom We mentioned and narrated to you their stories and some we did not relate to you their account (78) ﴿

[Gaffer]

﴾ Who faithfully believe in all that has been revealed to you, O Muhammad, -the Quran- way of life, religious and spiritual virtues and all that has been enjoined, crediting all revelations to those sent before you in AL-Taw rah (the Torah) and AL-Injil (the Bible)… (4) ﴿

All the creatures are the worshipers of Allah…
The beginning:

﴾ Who are strongly disposed to realise the unseen (3) ﴿

And the end:

﴾ and the like, affirming the certainty of the Hereafter (4) Their…(5) ﴿

Your faith raise you, promote you, sustain you, and preserve you…

﴾ Their hearts have been touched with the divine hand, they have Providence as their guide…(5) ﴿

Be precise… the guidance is a group of wraps.

Living up to the religious values makes you free:

You have a system of values; this is ill-gotten, this is not permissible, this is a help to do the detestable; that the approach is one hundred thousand items, and each item has an order and forbidden; permissible and preferred; a confirmed “Sunnah” and unconfirmed one; desirable.
The guidance has restrictions, but makes you free .. Be precise .. A citizen adjusts by all the regulations, then he is free, he is sitting comfortable in his home, he likes to travel, or to reside, or to take an exit visa, he can go to anywhere and wherever he wants; because he restricted himself with laws, then he became free; while if someone has committed a great violation, then he would lose his freedom.
There are things which the relationship between each other is inverse, The living up to the religious values makes you free, and the escaping of them makes you restricted and denied...

﴾ …Such persons are they who hold fast to false beliefs (32) ﴿

[Al-Ahqaf]

It means that his end either a dejection, or he will infect with a psychological disease, or he will imprison.

﴾ Their hearts have been touched with the divine hand, they have Providence as their guide…(5) ﴿

The guidance raises you, and the escaping brings you down and misguides you.

Belief in Allah and connecting with Him protect from the torment of this life and the Last Day:

Those who want the protection from the torment of the worldly life, and the torment of the Hereafter; they looked for the approach and they found it in the Quran “The Book of Allah”, then they believed in Allah without seeing Him, and they connected with Him through the expenditure of what Allah has bestowed them, also they believed in the series of the heavenly messages, and they believed in the Last Day which is the day of the decision.

﴾ Their hearts have been touched with the divine hand, they have Providence as their guide, and it is they who will prosper (5) ﴿

So, what do you say if we were of those who agree with these verses? By Allah, that is the great winning, that is the wisdom, and that is the superior; it is to be from the chosen elite, of those who were satisfied by Allah, those who Allah has made the guidance in their hearts, and those who Allah has led them to His way; that is the winning, that is the success, that is the superior, and that is the prosperity.

﴾ Their hearts have been touched with the divine hand, they have Providence as their guide, and it is they who will prosper (5) ﴿

I have said to you in the previous lesson that “Surah Al-Baqarah” is blessed; and some of the Companions has said: “If one of us read Surat Al-Baqarah and Surat Al ‘Imran , then his standing would become greater among us”.

The Meccan verses are universal, and need to a careful interpretation, that contain a very accurate detailed issues.
I ask Allah, Almighty, to benefit us with this lesson, and to make it reality and behavior, the faith in the unseen, expenditure, and a connection with Allah; that is the prosperity, and that is the success.
