Stories- Story 113: A murderer will be killed, sooner or later

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

A lawyer once told me that one of his clients, who happened to be a killer, was sentenced to death.
The judge asked the lawyer if he had conveyed the verdict to his client, to which he confirmed. The lawyer then asked the killer: "Did you kill this man?" The man replied: "No, I didn’t."
The execution was scheduled to take place in a few days, and the lawyer wanted to attend.
Before the rope was placed around his neck, the man said to his lawyer:
"Now that everything is over and I will be hanged soon, let me confess something: I didn’t kill this man. However, I did kill another man thirty years ago.
I was once the chief of a police station. One day, a French officer brought a man to be executed. I put him in the stable, but he managed to escape. To avoid taking responsibility, I brought in a Bedouin in his place, and that man was executed the next day".
If you pay close attention to every individual story in life, you’ll be shocked. However, if we take a panoramic view, all we see is an entire Islamic nation that is oppressed, displaced from its land, and killed.
We are unable to understanding the reasons behind what is happening unless Allah Almighty tells us, He says:

﴾ Surely, Allah wronged them not, but they used to wrong themselves ﴿

[ Ar-Rum, 9 ]
