Dear brothers, this anniversary will be insignificant unless we read the Prophetic Sunnah attentively. 

Thus, you should buy an authentic book of Sirah and start reading it daily in order to apply the Sunnah.

By doing this, you will celebrate Al-Mawlid properly,

but celebrating it through decorations, loud Anasheed and serving treats, is meaningless. 

  Some people celebrate the prophet’s birthday ignoring the gist of such celebration. In some countries, people celebrate by doing forbidden things; men and women mix, dance, and do many sins.

Those who consider celebrating the prophet’s birthday forbidden are right sometimes as they see the sins committed in the celebration. 

As an Ummah, we should apply Islam as it has been revealed to the prophet peace be upon him, without taking any extreme.
