- Eid Marvels
Dear brothers, while you are kissing your children on the morning of Eid remember people who are suffering under occupation and oppression.
Remember the orphans who lack their fathers' compassion.
Remember the widows who miss their husbands' smiles.
Remember the parents whose children are taken away from them.
Remember people displaced and scattered due to tyranny.
Eid comes to them while they chock on their tears, are cooked on the fire of pain and lack the taste of relief and settlement.
Remember while you are resorting to your shading shelter, your spacious house and cozy bed in Eid that there are brothers of yours who are sleeping in desert, covered with the sky and starving in the open.
Bethink while you heal their wounds and meet their needs that you are healing your own wounds and meeting your own needs, for Allah says:
﴾The believers, men and women, are Auliya' (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another﴿
