Ramadan Hadiths- (25): The Night of Al-Qadr

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

(In it (Ramadan), there is a night which is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.)

[Sunan An-Nasa'i]

What is the meaning of Qadr? It means that you should estimate Allah with estimation due to Him by knowing His Lordship and Divine Deity and to believe that there is only Allah The One, that His Hand is The only Upper Hand in the universe and that "The Hand of Allah is over their hands."
In times of hardship like the one we live in, we are in dire need of Laylat al-Qadr. We are in dire need to estimate Allah with estimation due to Him. Thus, let us sacrifice the worthy and the trivial for the sake of Allah's Pleasure.
In times of hardship like the one we live in, we should all support this religion, its principles, values and the Islamic behavior. Laylat al-Qadr means that we should get to know Allah, to estimate His Divine Character and to pay heed to the bad consequences of disobeying Him and the good rewards of obeying Him.
