Taraweeh Salah is essential in Ramadan. You have to stand in prayer before Allah Almighty while listening to the Noble Quran recited by Imam in Masjid, and this is the highest rank of Quran recitation.
Ramadan is an opportunity. Who can guarantee that he will live till the next Ramadan? No one can! I dare anyone to say that he will live till next Ramadan.
Man might die suddenly, and the grave is the chest of deeds. Ramadan is an opportunity to make amends with Allah, to settle all your accounts, to repent from your sins and become free of sins as on the day your mother gave birth to you. These achievements need strong will and self-control, as steadfastness is the base of Siyaam.
