Ramadan Hadiths- (13): Quran is a means to ascend in Ranks

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

"The one who was devoted to the Qur'an will be told on the Day of Resurrection: 'Recite and ascend (in ranks) as you used to recite when you were in the world. Your rank will be at the last Ayah you recite.' "

[Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi]

The true believer's habits are acts of worship, whereas the hypocrite's acts of worship are habits. The believer's daily activities and habits are considered in the Sight of Allah the Almighty acts of worship:

( Envy is not justified but in case of two persons only: one who, having been given (knowledge of) the Qur'an by Allah, recites it during the night and day (and also acts upon it) and a man who, having been given wealth by Allah, spends it during the night and the day (for the welfare of others. seeking the pleasure of the Lord).

[Muslim]

Allah the Almighty says:

﴾For all there will be degrees (or ranks) according to what they did﴿

[Al-An'am, 132]

This means that the Quran needs to be maintained, continually recited, understood, reflected on and acted upon in order to reap its fruits.
