Islam consists of; creed, worship, relations and morals
Dear honorable brother, Islam is like a triangle that is divided into four basic parts, the first part is creed, creed and ideology are the most dangerous things in religion because if creed is correct your deeds will be correct and if your deeds are good and righteous you will be safe and happy ever after but if your creed is corrupted your deeds will be corrupted and you will be miserable ever after. Creed comes first then worship. The pillars of Islam, prayers, fasting, Zakat (giving alms ), pilgrimage and to bear witness to the oneness of Allah saying "none has the right to be worshiped but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”. After that, we have the worship of transaction, honesty;faithfulness, justice. This kind of worship is very important because the ritual acts of worship won’t be accepted unless the transactional worships are performed correctly, as prayers won’t bear fruits without uprightness.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) asked one group of his companions, “Do you know who the bankrupt person is?” They said, “A bankrupt person amongst us is the one who has neither money nor property.” The Prophet (pbuh) said,
“The bankrupt person of my nation is he who comes on the Day of Resurrection with prayer and fast and giving great amounts in charity. And at the same time, he would come having abused this one, and slandered that one, and consumed the wealth of the other unlawfully, and shed the blood of yet sh3er and having beaten sh3er. Then any person whom he has wronged will be given from his good deeds on that Day. And if his good deeds are exhausted until he clears the account concerning all of the people he has oppressed, the sins of those people whom he has wronged will be thrown unto his account and after that, he will be thrown into the hellfire.”
The need for religion springs from the weakness of the human
The need for the religion is an inherent need in human, why? Because man was created very impatient,{Verily, man (disbeliever) was created very impatient}
There are weak points in the origin of his nature; this weak person needs powerful authority from which he seeks protection and refuge, authority that supports him and grants him victory{Irritable (discontented) when evil touches him; and niggardly when good touches him}
The believer knows his Lord the creator of the heaven and earth,{Say: "Allah knows best how long they stayed. With Him is (the knowledge of) the unseen of the heavens and the earth. How clearly He sees, and hears (everything)! They have no Wali (Helper, Disposer of affairs, Protector, etc.) other than Him, and He makes none to share in His Decision and His Rule."}
(Whatever of mercy (i.e.of good), Allah may grant to mankind, none can withhold it, and whatever He may withhold, none can grant it thereafter. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.}
Some people worshiped the sun, the moon, the stone, the sea, sh3er worshiped some animals like cows and rats, the need for religion comes from the weakness of humans but the Muslim believers knew their lord the creator of the heaven and earthThe Earthly positive religions are about meaningless rituals
The Earthly positive religions are about meaningless rituals; the rituals are movements, quietness, gestures, and meaningless mumbles, once I went to America; they took me to a Hindu temple, I found their deity at the fore part of the temple and there were brilliant diamonds worth millions on its chest, the followers of that deity prostrate in front of it, I saw a nutcracker in the temple and when I asked them about it they said that the deity loves coconuts. I praised Allah and thanked Him for the blessing of IslamI read in a German magazine about some people who worship rats. There are huge buildings with thousands of rats in them, they offer them milk and good food, they carry the rats on their shoulders and heads, that is what happened to people when they went astray from the path of Allah so thank Allah dear brother and praise Him
The acts of worship are related to the interests of people.
The believer knew Allah and worshiped Him. In some countries in Asia the cow enters a fruit shop and eats what it likes and the owner of the shop is happy because the deity entered his shop. They put the dung of the cow in the guest room and they perfume themselves with the urine of the cows, thank Allah my brother, we are in a great blessing we worship one deity we worship the Creator of the heavens and earth. The Earthly positive religions are about meaningless rituals the rituals are movements, quietness, gestures, and meaningless mumbles., Imam Al shafi said ; The acts of worship are related to the interests of people, the Islamic law is mercy, wisdom, interests, and justice, anything that moved from justice to the opposite or from interests to corruption then it is not from the Islamic lawThe aim behind fasting is piety
Almighty Allah said;{O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious)}
{That you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious)} as if the aim behind fasting is to reach piety, piety is to see by the light of Allah, piety is to see the truth as truth and to follow it and to see the falsehood as falsehood and to avoid it, piety is a light that Almighty Allah cast in the heart, when you fast Ramadan motivated by belief and hoping for the reward and when you leave the allowable things like food and drink and approaching your wife you leave all that to get closer to Allah, Almighty Allah casts a light in your heart by which you see the truth as truth and the falsehood as falsehoodAlmighty Allah said;
{O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious)}
The acts of worship are related to the interests of people and the aim behind fasting is pietyIslam develops the inner restraint in human
Almighty allah said ;{ Reauthor (O Muhammad ) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur'an), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat). Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers, etc.]. And Allah knows what you do.}
Praying grants you inner restraint and prevents you from any sin, prevents you from transgression, injustice, lying or fraud{ As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers, etc.]. And Allah knows what you do.}
It is forbidden in all the laws in the world to use the cell phone while driving, that prohibition is related to the police man, if the police man is absent most of the people use the cell phone while driving, someone crossed the red light, and when the police officer stopped him and said have you not seen the red signal he said: actually I saw it but I didn’t see you. However, in religion when Ramadan comes in August the temperature is forty five degrees, you are very thirsty and you have cold water in the refrigerator and you are alone in your house where no one sees you, you can’t put a drop of water in your mouth, that is the religion
Sell me this sheep and take its price.' 'But I don’t own it' He answered. He said: Tell its owner that it died' He said,: 'By Allah, I am in desperate need for its price, and if I told its owner that it died or a wolf ate it he would believe me because he is convinced of my sincerity and my fidelity, but where is Allah then?The greatness of this religion lies in the fact that it develops the inner restraint in humans.If a Muslim who sells food for example opened the warehouse and found a rat in the oil, would he be able to sell this oil to people ? No one saw the rat but the oil becomes impure, if he worships Allah he wouldn’t sell that oil, belief is his restrain. People who are far away from Allah, practice cheating as there is no restrain for them.
Belief is a surrendered punishment that is not to punish a believer.?
Difference between western system and Islamic system:
The acts of worship are related to the interests of people, prayers develops the inner deterrent while all the laws are based on the external deterrent, when you enter a big market in the western world, there are goods and products worth billions and at the exit gate of the market there is a cashier, any product that you have not paid for sends a signal to the the security system and the alarm is trigerred, so all the doors would be closed suddenly, nobody can take a product without paying for it, there is no reward to that from Allah because their uprightness is an electronic one, if the electricity was cutoff in a western country two hundred thousand robberies would take place in one night worth billions. The western system is based on the external deterrent while the Islamic system is based on the inner one. If there was no fasting in Islam and a government saw that fasting was good for people and therefore it delivered a decree for the citizens to fast, how many people would fast then ? No one would fast it is impossible to control that but the religion can control it.Uprightness makes human away from deviation
Dear brother, Alcohol was prohibited in America in 1933 I read an amazing research, four hundred thousand people entered prison and about two hundred were executed and people became more in demand of alcohol, ships were made specially to smuggle alcohol; after ten years the government gave up and made alcohol allowable, but when a Muslim reads one verse from the holy Quran he couldn’t sit on a table contains alcohol{As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers, etc.]. And Allah knows what you do}
Fasting;(O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious)
Zakat (giving alms){Take Sadaqah (alms) from their wealth in order to purify them and sanctify them with it, and invoke Allah for them. Verily! Your invocations are a source of security for them, and Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.}
{That you may know that Allah has knowledge of all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth,}
When you know that almighty Allah has knowledge of all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth you become upright on his path, the acts of worship are related to the interests of peoplePrayers are the ascension of the believer
Almighty Allah said;{Hold fast to that which We have given you, and remember that which is therein}
Dear brother when someone prays I hope that he never prays heedlessly and makes his prayers movements, quietness, gestures only, a great God ordained you to pray, to connect with Him tosupplicate Him and to draw near to Him{Fall prostrate and draw near to Allah}
{And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance.}
Prayers are the ascension of the believers; prayers are purification and light, happiness, Remembrance and proximity[Not every man praying really prays. I only accept prayers from he who humbled himself to My greatness, and Who resists his desires which I forbid and who did not harm My created beings, and never passed a night insisting on disobeying Me, }
In Ramadan we should avoid evening parties and mixed gatherings:
So the acts of worship are related to the interests of people, anyone who fasted Ramadan and he didn’t know the aim behind it as if he left food in the daylight to eat too much in the night of Ramadan, evening parties, banquets and mixed gathering, he says there is a Ramadan tent, it begins with the call to evening prayers after breaking the fast and it ends with music and dancing, the month of fasting becomes a social month and has nothing to do with worship, rather parties, banquets and mixed gatherings.Once I was invited to deliver a lecture in an Arab Muslim country – - I expected that all the people would be in their houses because they were supposed to be fasting but I was surprised that I found no place in the restaurant, women were showing off their adornment, no evening prayers no veil no discipline, they make the month of worship a social month and not for worship. Above all that, there are the entertainment programs that have been prepared specially for the holy month of Ramadan, programs that are cheap and provocative. Religion has definitely changed. The month of Ramadan should be a month of worship:
{O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious)}
{As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers, etc.]. And Allah knows what you do}
((I know some people from my nation who will appear on the Day of Judgment, with good deeds as big as the mount of Tuhama, but Allah Almighty will make those deeds disappear as if dust that has been scattered.” Thawban said: “Oh Messenger of Allah, describe those people to me, as I am afraid that we are of those people and we do not know.” He said: “They are brethren from your flesh and blood, and they pray at night just as you do, however they are people who when they are in their privacy, will perform illegal acts))
We hope that our fasting will be accepted God willing, we should lower our gaze and be upright on the path of AllahThe acts of worship are not rituals preformed superficially:
Hold fast to that which We have given youHow do we hold it fast?
{And remember that which is therein}
For example, if a father aspires to see his son one of the people of knowledge and he orders him to study in an Islamic institute, every time the father enters his son’s room the son picks up his book immediately and pretends that he is reading and then he asks his father where should he put his book exactly on the table, the father tells him: put it where you like but focus on your studyWhen man forgets the great aim and he cares about trivial details;the acts of worship are not rituals preformed superficially but they are related to the interests of people,the Islamic law is all mercy, all wisdom, interests, and justice, anything that has moved from justice to the opposite or from interests to corruption then it is not from the Islamic law
The way to draw near to Allah and to enjoy His proximity
Dear brother, what I really hope for is that we should perform the acts of worship the way Allah ordained us to and that acts of worship should be preceded by uprightness because almighty Allah said ;{As-Salat (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e. the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise, etc.) and in His Warnings (Hell, etc.)}.
Prayers without uprightness are very heavy and hard except for true believers in Allah{O Bilal, let’s feel comfort by it}
There is a big difference between one finding comfort by it and comfort from itPrayers are a source of happiness and delight. Prayers with uprightness and righteous deeds are the way to draw near to Allah and to enjoy His proximity, Prayers without uprightness are very heavy and hard, just movement and quietness which begin with Al takbir exclaiming Allah is the most great and end with salutation (to turn one’s face right and left saying Allah’s peace be on you)
Someone asked his friend; have you preformed the evening prayers four Ra’kah (units, prostrations)? He said; no I preformed three Rakahs, his friend asked him; how can you be sure ? He said; yes, I have three boxes in my commercial shop and there is a problem in one of them, in every prostration I solved a problem!
He solved his problems during prayers instead of praying to Allah and drawing near to Him, sins prevent you from connecting with almighty Allah, prayers without uprightness are meaningless movements. Prayers with uprightness and righteous deeds are the way to draw near to Allah and to enjoy His proximity
Success is to understand the meanings of the acts of worship:
Dear brother, this subject is entitled ‘the acts of worship are related to the interests of people’, that is what Al Imam Al Shafi said, we shouldn’t forget the aim behind each and every worship, the heroism is to know the aim and the meanings behind praying, fasting, giving alms (Azakat), through fasting you ascend from state to a state, but some people keep descending but through fasting we ascendScientific subject:
Human body is one of the signs of Allah that indicate His Greatness:
Dear brother, let’s move to the scientific subject1- The hair ;
Sometimes man finds his body the closest thing to him, there are interesting numbers with regards to the body of the human; each human being has three hundred thousand hairs, each hair has a vein, artery, nerve, muscle, sebaceous glands and pigment2- The eye ;
In the retina there are ten layers and it has a hundred and thirty million rods and cones, the retina is about 1mm and a quarter and has 130 million rods and cones where as in a professional camera it has ten thousand in one mm.3-The ear;
In the ear there are thirty thousand auditory cells, Almighty Allah honored us and created two ears for us to know the direction of the sound, When the brain receives sound from both the right and left ears it makes it easier to locate the direction, The brain uses the time difference in these signals to determine the direction from which a sound is coming. The ability to localize sounds from the left or right is very important in many situations, such as identifying where traffic is coming from. For example, when crossing a road and a car is approaching, your ear which is nearest to the car will receive sounds milliseconds earlier than the other and a little louder. With the reception of sounds from each ear, the brain is able to gauge the direction of the car and approximately how close it is.4-The tongue;
Ten thousand taste buds cover the surface of the tongue. Taste buds are collections of nerve-like cells that connect to nerves running into the brain to differentiate between the common tastes; sweet, sour, bitter, and salty.The tongue enables us to form a letter with the help of seventy muscles, in the mouth we have mucous membrane with five hundred thousand cells. half a million cells die every five minutes to be replaced by half a million new cells5- Red blood cells
If we place the red blood cells in a row, the length would exceed six times that of the perimeter of the earth, In every Cubic millimeter of blood there are five million red blood cells and each blood cell travels a thousand and fifty hundred rounds in the body and it crosses one thousand one hundred and fifty kilometers, every second about two million and a half cells die and every second about two million and a half cells are generated.{This is the creation of Allah. So show Me that which those (whom you worship), besides Him have created} lugman 11
6- The heart
The heart pumps throughout an average human’s life p, what fills the biggest skyscraper in the world and it beats sixty to eighty beats per minute, the heart beats a hundred thousand times during a day, it pumps eighty cubic meters of blood every day, you sometimes consume one cubic meter of fuel in a whole year, your heart pumps eighty cubic meters of blood every day, in the human brain there are fourteen milliard cortical cells and they depend on one hundred forty milliard cells they haven’t known their function yet7-Lungs
In the lungs we have seventy million alveolus like the bunches of grapes, if these alveolus were stretched they would occupy two hundred square meters; the lungs beat twenty five thousand times per day and they inhale one hundred eighty cubic meter of Oxygen8- The liver;
In the liver there are three hundred milliard cells which have the ability to regenerate completely every four months, one of our brother who is excellent in the surgery of the liver said that he eradicated four fifths of a liver because of cirrhosis and the remaining one fifth was in a good condition, the liver rebuild itself, after sixteen weeks the liver had recovered; the fastest cells in regeneration are the cells of the liver9-The stomach
In the wall of the stomach there are a milliard cells and they secrete several liters of hydrochloric acid a day, there is a big question; why doesn’t the stomach digest itself? It digests meat and the stomach is from meat so why doesn’t it digest itself?10-The intestines;
In each centimeter in the intestines there are three thousand six hundred Villi These Villi regenerate every forty eight hours this means that your intestines are regenerated completely every forty eight hours; the shortest age is the age of Villi and the longest age is the age of bones which regenerate every five years, then you are a new human every five years your skin, your hair, your bones all are new except your heart and brain, if your brain changed all your information. your experience, your memories would be lost11-The kidney;
In the kidneys there are two million units; each kidney contains around a million units called nephrons each of which is a filter of blood and which are about one hundred kilometer long, the blood passes through the kidneys five times a day.12-The skin;
Under the skin there are fifteen million sweat glands which function as temperature regulators ; in heat the sweat glands secrete sweat from the body to regulate the body temperature when you sweat the moisture in your body evaporates and provides cooling effects for the body.Dear brother those are some facts about our body almighty Allah said;
{ And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see?}
