What time should we offer night prayers, and is there an exact number of Ruk'at of it?
The Prophet PBUH used to pray 8 Rak'at and 3 Ruk'at of Witr, this is his night prayers. If you offer them before you sleep it is called Tahajud, and if you offer them after your sleep, it is called night prayer Qiyam Al-Lail.
