In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Question:

I have a question about a situation and I appreciate you reply. I Will tell the situation. I want to get married. The issue is that my husband to be is married and due his family situation and critical job position we can't get married in public.

We agreed to get married without the knowledge of anyone.
My husband to be and I agreed for all the details like maher, mokadam and mo2akhar. We also agreed that we wont have children. I need to know is there a problem with chare3 in our situation? Especially that we prefer to get married without written records due to the critical situation.

Answer:

It is not permitted in Islam to marry without written records and without a legal framework. Even if the husband wants to keep it secret so that his first wife wouldn't know (and advise not to do that) this doesn't mean to get married without registering the marriage contract in the concerned court and the wali (father) of the wife must approve.
