In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Dear brothers, today we tackle a new Name of Allah from His Beautiful Names, and the Name for today is Al Qareeb.
Dear brothers, this name is dear to mankind in the sense that one would be unable to disobey Allah if he believed beyond doubt that He is always with him.
Furthermore, when you feel the closeness of Allah to you, knowing it is out of His vast Knowledge and Omnipotence, you will not be able to disobey His commands.
When you reach the belief that Allah is always with you, you have actually passed nine-tenths of the path towards Allah.
Feeling the closeness of Allah Almighty to you is the greatest motivation that compels you to obey and fear Him. When a person realizes that Allah is with him, he turns completely to Him.
By Allah, dear brothers, the greatest grace from Allah is to feel secure, to know that your destiny is in His Hands (not in the hands of any person), and to realize that your sustenance and health are also in His Hands.
When you feel the closeness of Allah Almighty to you, you invoke Him at any time and in any place; whether you are on a plane, in a submarine deep in the water, on the surface of the earth, or in any condition.
This feeling of closeness to Allah brings joy and tranquility (to the soul).
